"This is our local takeout spot, and we've enjoyed some delicious meals over the years. However, lately it seems like the quality of the food has declined while the portion sizes have increased. Last night, we ordered a family delivery that arrived in just 25 minutes, which was quicker than the 45 minutes we were quoted over the phone. We thought this was great, but unfortunately, the food was only warm despite being only 600 meters from the restaurant. The taste has not lived up to what we used to enjoy, and it’s becoming clear that the meals are now just frozen mass-produced items that have been tossed into a deep fryer. We really hope they can bring back the higher quality food we used to love."

Staying for few days in the area. Ordered a very tasty takeaway delivered straight to our door by friendly driver. Piping hot and freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the most delicious Chinese food we've ever tasted for takeout. The service was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. We came through in our campervan and will definitely be back. Thank you! View menu

I highly recommend this restaurant as it offers the best Chinese food I've ever had. The staff are friendly, and the food is amazing. Additionally, they sometimes provide complimentary snacks, such as chips or cola. Definitely worth a visit!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered takeout, and I found the prices quite reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10 per person. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. Highly recommended!

On the way home from another great MBS event in Wales. Great service from the staff, wonderful small place, food lovely well worth a visit. This time was a quick visit for burger and chips the sauce was a surprise, only negative was the barmcake didn’t seem to be buttered. Definitely will be trying a Chinese meal out next time. **Delivery Meal Type:** Other **Price per Person:** £10–£20 **Food Rating:** 4/5 **Service Rating:** 4/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 4/5 Overall, I had a great experience with my meal delivery. The food was delicious and well-prepared, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The service also impressed me, with timely delivery and courteous staff, which also deserves a 4. The atmosphere, while not applicable to delivery, still makes me eager to visit the restaurant in person one day, given its inviting vibe, also rated a 4. Overall, a lovely dining experience!

Me and my partner were both staying in Pod 2 at Waenfechan glamping. We ordered food Monday evening at 16:31, at roughly 16:53 the food was delivered by a friendly delivery driver. We'd both ordered a Hot and spicy soup , salt and pepper muncie box , and a portion of prawn crackers. We'd just finished the National 3 peaks challenge the day before, and we were a tad drunk , so this food was a god send , and it came in lightening speed without compromising quality. I would definitely recommend you try here if you're looking for a takeaway. The total bill came to £24. Well worth it !!

"Whenever I get the inclination to write a review it’s usually because it’s so good and I want to shout about my experience to everyone… however this is not my usual 5* recommendation! As locals we have visited this cafe on a few occasions for breakfast or a coffee stop. It’s a great location, nice decor, dog friendly and delicious food. What’s not to like? Well, the staff, or more specifically the owner! She lacks any customer service skills, she smiles through gritted teeth, orders her staff around while she stands observing (or waiting for an argument . Each time we’ve visited she’s had an issue with something. Once she argued with me because I asked for my latte to be served in a cup rather than a tall glass. She proceeded to try and educate me on coffee making (I’m barista trained ! She reluctantly gave me it to me in a mug with a jug of extra milk which wouldn’t fit into the mug anyway! More recently we arrived, it was quiet, and chose to sit in the window (the largest table as we had our dog and didn’t want him to be in the way. She rushed over and demanded we sat at another table because she “couldn’t afford for us to take up a larger table”. We moved without an issue but she was very confrontational (as always and made the rest of our dining experience uncomfortable. So uncomfortable in fact that despite being ravenous we almost didn’t order. The cafe remained quiet throughout our time there, plenty of empty tables and yet she proceeded to use the larger window table to accommodate her staff, herself and a friend who popped in. How is that fair? So my advice to you as a fellow catering/ hospitality manager is… Learn from your Trip Advisor feedback, Book yourself on a free customer service course and lead by example and if you are worried about costs reduce the number of staff. 5 staff on duty in a cafe that seats approx 25 people at full capacity is not needed. Maybe the owner should put her feet up at home and let the lovely younger people do their thing. They all look so nervous around her and are almost too afraid to speak. I’m sure they’d do a far better job without her monitoring their every move. Even the Chef (her husband maybe? looks petrified of her!! Certain people are not cut out for customer facing roles and she is one of them! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read any of these reviews as she’s been like this since my first visit 5 years ago!! What a shame. This place could be a thriving business and a welcoming village cafe but I’m sure her confrontational attitude and unwelcoming nature put people off from returning. Such a shame as the food and coffee are delightful"

"As you drive into the car park at Signatures, you may wonder if you’ve made the right choice for dinner. Yes, it’s a restaurant that’s at a “holiday home resort” – and that’s a posh caravan park to you and me. But, fear not, we’d been here before and know that it punches above its weight, making it one of the better restaurants along the coast. The menu is well rooted in “Modern British” food which means it occasionally makes a leap away from the comfort of Northern Europe. As in a starter of king prawns, dressed in a quite pokey satay sauce, served with a crispy noodle salad. It worked. As did a lobster bisque which had the richness of the one you get in jars at Waitrose but enhanced with small bits of lobster. It’s accompanied with a small slice of toast, topped with mayo, crab and prawns. Sirloin steak was accurately cooked as requested but could have done with a bit of seasoning. It came with classic accompaniments – nicely cooked “fat chips”, grilled cherry tomatoes and a field mushroom.. “Trio of lamb” was a good representation of the modern classic of “meat three ways”. A couple of slices of perfectly pink fillet. Some long cooked shoulder. And breast, also long cooked, then pressed, breaded and fried to crisp. That came with “Palouise” potatoes – Google doesn’t find that term but it seemed be a boiled potato topped with buttery gloop (no, I wasn’t a fan). But it’s more than made up for by Savoy cabbage, roasted carrot and a lovely rich sauce. We often pass on dessert but not this time. Two classics on the menu, Firstly sticky toffee pudding – it’s rare to see a menu these days which doesn’t have it on. And, most times, it’s not worth the calories. But, here, it’s a delicious light sponge, pretty much perfect butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream, Homemade “Arctic Roll” and jelly will whisk a generation of Britons back to their childhood. Ice cream surrounded by sponge was fine. The fruit jelly was excellent – really fruity rather than just generic “sweet”. Good coffee to finish."
