"My friend and I booked a last minute girls trip over the Valentine’s weekend and we were lucky enough that 83 Hanover Street managed to squeeze us in at their bar area. The restaurant was packed but food was flying out the open kitchen. Sitting at the bar I felt we had the best seats in the bar. We tried pisco sours and margaritas, but it was the food which did all the talking when it comes to flavour and quality. We ordered a wee compilation of vegetarian goodies (peppers, halloumi fries, empanadas and more) and every single dish we got was better than the last. If you’re looking for somewhere which has a South American twist on cuisine and good food, this is the place to go. Definitely try out as many small plates as you can they are delicious!"

Good bar. Good choice of cocktails. Reasonably priced. Nice laid back atmosphere. Did not eat here so cannot comment on food.

great eating, tastes amazing and the drinks are also quite good. the only place where we could sit at a weekend without a booking and I am so glad that we came to it. would definitely go back to explore more of the menu soon View menu

Visited last night with friends had several cocktails which were really nice. Unfortunately young guy who was serving us did not make us feel very welcome. We decided to leave earlier than anticipated because of his attitude.

Oh, they're finally brunch! that was absolutely great. eating was incredibly delicious, bright atmosphere. had hated the bark cheek and it fell apart in the round. the nebulae should die for the correct amount. classic mumosa is always a way to start a brunch. excites to go back to dinner and see what it is about. they really look at this. it is surely a hidden gem. the price is also very good.

the best restaurant where I was in the three years in edinburgh. eating is fantastic, every dish bold and interesting. the vibe is great, casual and stylish and not off-the-spot. it is a small teller Arta place, so not for them if they want a strictly choreographed and formal culinary experience. if they are motivated to try delicious and unique food (for the city), then they must try. I can't wait to go back. View menu

had a wonderful time in South American tapas-style restaurant. all eating was amazing in taste, presentation and well cooked. the otopus was cooked to perfection. waiter are friendly and attentive, make sure to save space for dessert and get the banana dart donein incredible! there are no alcoholic cocktails and a good selection of food and drinks. I am thrilled that I was recommended this place by a friend. an excellent choice!

Excellent food, great cocktails (Kon Tiki was my favourite, Pasiflora my wife’s) good atmosphere with great music (old school house and disco selection). The menu has changed a little bit compared to previous selections (hence my new picture showing July 2021 menu). Children might not know what to order of the menu but will like something (especially the fries, potato bravas and the BBQ flatbread). Settling the bill took a long time (literally 20 minutes after we said we were done) but it gave us time to select where to go for desert and coffee.
