"I have always loved this little restaurant. I go there every time I am in town. For the first time ever, I was disappointed by the “welcome”. The waiter who welcomed my family mumbled that I should have called to let them know that it was no longer a party of 4, but it was now a party of 5. The fifth person was my 7-year old nephew. I admit it was my fault, but the waiter could have been a little nicer about it, especially considering that I am a returning customer. Needless to say, the other waiters were very pleasant and professional. I recommend the plain tarte flambée as a main meal, and the tarte flambée aux pommes with Calvados for dessert. The food is great, and I have never been disappointed in their meals. The setting is beautiful too, and if you show up in the summer, make sure to make a reservation and ask for the outside patio. Bon appétit!"

"Eat: we also enjoyed the starter (they must call it a suppe, but I prefer a liquid care as a main course (a beautiful newly visited version of fish chips). drinks: fish like swimming! the fish was very happy : in a white pinot : an exact reasonable service : excellent as in the rule the entire team is very professional! Summary : they will love this charming place, we will be back soon!"

"Excellent We had lunch on Thursday 10 11 2022, with friends, 8 covered. We were very welcome, the room is well decorated, a little noisy when it is full. Lamb soup with vegetables of the moment, perfectly mastered cooking, tender meat, melting, tasteful, excellent. Choucroute garnished with 5 very good meats as well, excellent kidneys, grilled sandbread very good, etc. No false note, the dishes are quite copyy and excellent. Sorbet mango and raspberry, loafed with mandarin sorbet clementines, soup of warm quetsches vanilla ice, etc. Very good. In wine: Saint Véran blanc and Rasteau, perfect to accompany this delicious meal. Excellent price. Nice service, with a smile Thanks to the whole team, we enjoyed it."

"We were staying at the hotel and had made a reservation in the restaurant. We arrived at 19,00 and were among the evening’s first guests. My wife and I got a table in a corner, the restaurant’s absolutely least attractive table. We asked if we couldn’t get one of the other at least 10 to 12 unoccupied tables, but we were informed they were all reserved. Service was quite fast and the food was good, but during the meal we noticed that at least nine of the tables that were supposed to be reserved were still unoccupid during the evening. After finishing our meal we were completely ignored by the staff and the plates were not taken away. After waiting for more than half an hour we moved out to the terrace. Still no service, no waiter asking if we wanted coffee or anything else. Then we gave up and started to leave passing by the waitress to pay. We told her why we were disappointed. She asked the manager to come. When arriving he wasn’t the least interested in why we were dissatisfied. The reason why we couldn’t get a better table, we were told, was that they were reserved for regular clients who didn’t show up this evening. And why we were ignored? Because the staff gave priority to other guests. Our conclusion: Don’t come here if you are not a regular client or you just expect some good service if you happen to pass by this neighbourhood. We had been looking forward to a plesant evening and are still very disappointed. The fact that we got a reduction of the bill doesn’t make much of a difference."

"I am disappointed with the quality of the tartes flambées. There were too many burnt parts..I have already eaten a lot of tartes flambées but the taste of gratinated cheese was not there..even though I love gratinated cheese..no : . I won't come back again. .a lot of waiting for a dish which had not been rated ..the coffees which did not come ..a lady from the team who at the entrance did not really have a smile…to end on a positive point: thanks to our waitress to whom I offer the third star otherwise I would have given her two!"
