"Lovely location and lovely relaxing décor enjoyed a really relaxing lunch meeting up with two family members allowed us to chat and totally relax after a bustling busy morning. Lovely choice of menu very friendly staff. Only negative was coffees not hot enough for our liking but a request for a pot of hot water arrived very quickly and we had our lovely hot coffees just as we like them so well done. Our family is spread out so when we can we do meet in Inverness being central for everyone to travel too so this venue will definitely be our choice in future to meet for lunch or for coffee and cakes because it is so relaxing and comforting which will certainly set us up for our journeys home."

A superb belated mother's day afternoon tea. The food was lovely and the staff attentive. We took our time and were not rushed in any way. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had a great time at the Hotel and Spa! We had an afternoon tea for 6 people, there were plenty food and most of all the environment was superb, in a beautiful room with a view on the castle. Service was also impeccable.

Staff did not meet us when entering the restaurant, so we had to look for someone to get our table which we had booked, then we had to stand next to the table while they cleared it. The restaurant looked dirty. Food was edable but poor. Clearly under staffed. Definitely over priced

My friends and I had a lovely afternoon tea in the Palace, the only thing we were all very disappointed with were the scones they looked very much as though they were shop bought and had been in a freezer as they were stone cold to touch not at all you would expect from a 4 star hotel .. in hindsight we really should have said something at the time..

Il be honest it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had..The service was terrible, the food was ok just thrown in the plate though.and drinks took 30 mins. The 2 working should never have been left alone they didn’t know what they were doing.didn’t jnowchow to make drinks etc..I rarely ever complain,I’m easy pleased but this was an awful experience all round

Highly recommend the Palace for High Tea. Wonderful service, great selection of food and also tried a couple of gins. We had an extra person join us and chef and team were so accommodating. Have had high tea at other locations in Inverness this is the best. Lovely comfy couches and seats overlooking River Ness. Good quality and quantity of food. Great value for money and lovely experience. Will definitely be back.
