"I've been here many times before but was even more impressed on this occasion. Arriving about I didn't realise they closed at but was nevertheless welcomed enthusiastically and asked to come in for coffee and cake. I settled for a delicious Americano and an even more delicious plain scone with butter, all very modestly priced. Even though I was intruding on their clean up time, and I think members of the family were having a meal, I was treated with the very best of courtesy and polite banter. I would urge everyone not to be an idiot like me, so check on the opening times first. I can guarantee a food and service experience worth repeating time and time again."

We are both vegans and tried this place out for the first time. Very friendly staff, and plenty of choices to choose from. Its lovely sitting outside on the decking. We will make a point of using this place regularly.

alibob is a big caffe with a brilliant environment, as it is out of the way, so it is nice to be out of town and relax with their eating and coffee. they have a clear vegan menu and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I love how they are also dog friendly and a bowl ready for them too.

I don't often leave reviews, but it was so good that I had to eat. the personal is beautiful and eating is amaaaazing. her menu is bigger than shown on facebook and I had difficulty choosing everything as delicious looking! the selection of huagies, packings, suppe (I had bombay potato divine), baked kartoffeln aaa and something else I do not remember. whatever. come here. beautiful environment and dog friendly! I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I understand why the evaluation system here is more support from fully vegan sites.

If I had to pick one of the few highlights of it would have to be our visits to Alibob's Cafe. I'm fairly picky critical when it comes to sandwiches but, hand on heart, the Alibob on white bread is an absolute delight that cannot be improved upon, in my opinion. From my extensive testing of strawberry tarts, I can confirm that they are delicious too. I'd also advise that you should probably take one or two home with you definitely worth it. Beyond that, the craic with Ali, Bob and the rest of the staff is brilliant and we have been made to feel so welcome. Would highly recommend.

I visited AliBob while staying with friends nearby this is one of their favourites and I can see why! The whole atmosphere is very friendly, the location is lovely, and there is a good selection of vegan food. I also eat gluten free and was given a gluten free menu, however this did not have vegan options marked so I had to cross reference with the vegan menu. I ended up with soup and a baked potato followed by a flapjack as the gluten free bread was not vegan and most meals were bread based. What I had was delicious though! I particularly enjoyed the soup. Oh! And the fresh mint tea! If I'm in the area again I'd happily return!

"We stumbled across this place on the last night of a fortnight in Scotland and couldn 't be more glad that we did and that they had space. We were seated promptly (underneath the fan thankfully considering the heatwave), asked whether we 'd eaten there before (we hadn 't), had the menu explained to us (suggested 3 tapas per person) and then left alone briefly to consider the menu. Once ordered, drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, followed by breads dips to tempt tide us over until our tapas arrived. It wasn 't very quick, but I didn 't think it was unduly long either just the right length of time for non fast food that is being prepared freshly. And when it arrived, we were delighted as it was delicious! The only slight disappointment was that salted cod wasn 't available, but that was soon forgotten. My personal favourite was the poached chorizo in red wine with honey glaze, but we were happy with all of our options (patatas bravas, haggis balls, pinchas de pollo, spinach chickpea stew, haddock in red pepper sauce and Spanish tortilla the latter really made by the spicy tomato salsa on the side). 5 between the two of us would probably have sufficed, which would have meant I had space for one of the ice creams, but in hindsight, I 'm glad I didn 't. Excellent service, delicious food, our best meal of our holiday. We probably won 't be back (living in Birmingham and all) but definitely would if we were local."
