"I went with my work team to amarone for my first work event in Britain. the place looks really great and the staff was really friendly. I have selected a starter, a main dish and a dessert from the dinner menu. I started with an salad with cured meat. Not bad, but I wouldn't ask again. I asked about one of my favourite dishes, mushroom risotto. it was good, but not the best I cost. the dessert was the worst part of my meal. I love ingwer, but I didn't like the taste of this dessert. the aromen just didn't fit me. the personal was always very friendly. because it is not the cheapest place I expected a bit more (and a person in my group had a big piece...read more"

Good food, shame about the service. Waitress was rude and had no manners.

A bit pricey, but I don't mind as it's a trade off for good food, excellent service and modern and clean surroundings..

What a wonderful culinary experience! I have celiac disease and need to follow a strict gluten-free diet. The servers were very attentive and careful when serving me a lovely lunch. A big thank you to the staff at Amerone!

Disappointing. Service was slow, staff unpleasant. Different member of staff brought each of our courses. Food was nothing to shout about, in fact it was one of the worst Italian meals I've ever had! And its far to expensive for what you get. Or don't get as the case may be.

Natty says freaking awesome!. Nice Saturday lunch al fresco style. What more can you ask for. I had a fantastic risotto with chicken and my friend had salad. We were both very impressed by the quality of the food and the salad was exceptionally fresh. Cant fault it in the slightest, the service was fab too.

The Linguine with mixed Scottish seafood in olive oil, garlic, and parsley can be enjoyed with a tomato sugo or bianco sauce. On January 3, 2011, the Branzino with saffron was a whole roasted Sea Bass fillet filled with chives and orange zest, served with saffron risotto and roasted cherry tomatoes. The Seared Scottish king scallops with grilled pancetta ham and sun-dried tomato dressing is another delicious option.

Manager Euan warmly welcomed us upon arrival and escorted us to our table. Despite the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant, our meal took 35 minutes to arrive, leaving us quite hungry. However, waitress Katie took great care of us, keeping track of our order in the kitchen. Once our food arrived, we were delighted with the fantastic flavors and high quality of each dish. To make up for the delay, Katie and Euan treated us to complimentary desserts and a few drinks. Their kindness truly impressed us. In my opinion, this restaurant is the best in all of Scotland and highly recommended.

Patio dining. I had just got into town from the US and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I had not checked any reviews, I just wandered out from my hotel and started looking at menus. I eventually ended up at Amarone sitting on the patio. The place was enjoyable, I had a chance to watch people as they enjoyed their Saturday. The food was good, although I was surprised to not get any butter or dipping sauce with my bread and olive appetizer. My rigatoni Salsiccia was a nice dish for only 9.65. Service for me on Saturday on the patio seemed a little slow. I dont know if that's typical or not, this was my first meal in town.
