"My husband, puppy, and I enjoyed a wonderful midweek getaway to celebrate our puppy's first birthday. The hotel's well-maintained grounds were perfect for our puppy to run around, and its secluded location away from main roads made for a quiet stay. The hotel is very dog-friendly, with several other visitors also bringing their furry friends. There was only a £10 extra charge per night for our puppy to stay with us in the room. The rooms were comfortable and clean, as were the other areas of the hotel. The service was friendly, and the hotel had a well-stocked bar. Breakfast was delicious and included in the room cost. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in the area. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, with beds that felt like sleeping on pillows. The hotel's bar was well stocked, and the breakfast options were great. Unfortunately, the restaurant at the hotel had closed down."

The rooms at this restaurant could use some updating. There are not many activities nearby, but it is fine for walking around. They only serve breakfast, which was decent. The rooms received a rating of 3, as did the service. The location was given a 4. Overall, the highlight of the hotel is its peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

I recently stayed at this charming 3-star country hotel and it was the best lodging experience I've had in a long time. It surpassed even the Marriott and Hilton hotels. This family-run establishment offers fantastic breakfast and outstanding service. The Wyre suite we stayed in was spotless and we loved it so much that we returned from London in just a few months. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a stream nearby. I would rate the rooms and service a perfect 5 out of 5. View menu

Mock timber frame manor house retaining much of its character and charm. No lifts. Breakfast was choose your own pre-packed cereals with a cooked option. Dinner was a mini-taster with delicious options which we watched cooked on TV cameras. The room was clean but dated with an en-suit crammed in. High windows restricted light and views of extensive gardens and river. The staff were friendly and willing but lacked service training. Guests our age do not wish to be called 'you guys '.

I booked this hotel for one night at the end of a break away in North Wales, but within minutes of checking into our room we were so impressed that we booked a second night there. We had the four poster room initially which was stunning and huge and had amazing views across the river. We had to move to a slightly smaller room for the second night which was also stunning. Breakfast was wonderful and the beautiful room we ate in added to the whole experience. The staff are so welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. They made sure our room move was quick and seamless. There is such a calm unhurried yet professional feeling in the Manor. The Manor and its grounds have the wow factor and we can't wa...
