"Our telephone enquiry about the availability of a table had been dealt with positively and with enthusiasm. When we arrived, however, the welcome evaporated, as the booking had, within thirty minutes, somehow disappeared into the ether. The sense of unwelcome persisted, as the same member...of staff served us with apparent reluctance and evident disgruntlement, bordering on discourtesy. The otherwise quite intimate atmosphere was destroyed by the arrival of a group of diners whose volume had all of the subtlety of a coach party in Benidorm. These behaviours should not detract from the quality of the food on the plate, but they do."

The location is nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Decent service but the food was really not worth the money!!

we passed on our way to Chambord, this nice restaurant which surpised us in the positive way. We had a perfect lunch for € including courses dishe, water, wine and coffee. Each dish was very tastfull and dressed professional. Quality of the ingredients...are top! For that price category: Bravo!

Incredible garden with very good service and gourmet experience! Definitely it is worthwhile to book a night in Bracieux only to have a dinner in this lovely place that will make you to love even more Loire. Great menus offer with very good and diverse...tastes. The garden is very leaking and you can cool down after a very hot day in August. It was one of the best gourmet experience in France!

We had lunch at this restaurant following a tour of the chateau de Chambord. The setting is comfortably elegant, the service excellent and the meal delicious. We had lieu fume for an entree (a smoked whitefish on salad greens with a radish type garnish). It...was fabulous for taste, texture and visually. The main course was a fricassee of chicken fine, but not spectacular). Dessert was again a visual and gastronomic delight. View menu

A lovely atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor eating. The meal we chose was a ‘formule,’each course interesting and tastes exquisite. The chicken was the best I have ever eaten. Wine was a bit pricey but ok. The service could have been better. They were...training new staff on things like how to de cork a bottle and it took ever so long for drinks to arrive. A bit of pretraining would help. Courses from the kitchen were timely, though. We were there in June and strongly advise booking.

On a mainly budget holiday, we allowed ourselves one luxury meal for the whole trip and this was more than worth the wait. From the minute we walked through the doors we were made to feel welcome without being fussed over, and the waiters beamed...at our feeble attempts to speak French and replied in slow voices so we might better understand. Super house red wine and delicious amuse bouches we're brought to us while we looked over the comprehensive menu - superb. The food was excellent, and the waitress was kind, polite and knowledgeable. Some of the best food I've had in France.

"very friendly reception of the boss, very chatty but in a pleasant way. Slate formula at 17 euros for local and fresh products, all being beautifully presented in beautiful plates each time. We had 3 fungus-based mignardises to start while we had not ordered an aperitif. A delicate attention...Today we have tasted "the chef's terrine", a delicious homemade paste served with a delicious green salad with some pieces of tomatoes, radishes, pickles as well as the chaplain garnished with goat and small vegetables, impeccable too! In main dish, a trout net served with seasonal vegetables (carrots, gourmet peas, zucchinis returned to olive oil) and rice, nothing to say, delicious. A turkey net with the same filling, the only flat being a really small portion of fish...A cute, very tender, perfect cooking, served with really acidic plums to be eaten, but with a delicious sauce! In dessert, we all took the mellow with apricots, a pure happiness, a cake as at home, traditional, mellow, with apricots and above the house caramel, eat without hunger! The toilets are very clean and the cherry on the cake, they are small individual towels to wipe hands, little attention that has delighted me!Bref, outside of the dagger net really too small and the acidity of cherries, that of happiness!Tour in the sologne, it is a village without animation. proof that the ear or internet mouth can make known little jewelry!"
