"Been coming here for years (since it was a B&B actually). Service is always a bit hit and miss. So it proved yesterday. Very slow to be served. Staff uninterested (do they actually receive any customer service training? There's little sign of it). Waited forever for a christmas bap, despite it being quiet and everyone else already eating. No apology for delay. Then no cranberry in the turkey bap as advertised. To cap it all I was overcharged by £3 at the till and only realised when I was halfway home. Also stood at the deli for 10 mins trying to get some (very expensive) cheese. No-one came to serve so I gave up. I'd like to say this is out of the ordinary but it isn't, so finally I've had enough. I won't be back."

Best bacon bap in a long time and the coffee expert in the family declared it the best coffee all holiday. The small breakfast was substantial.

We enjoyed an excellent “pub style” lunch. A well-cooked beef and ale pie with lots of beef and a tasty gravy, gammon with egg and d pineapple, and quiche. All with peas and piping hot chips. Good service and very fair price.

came here for lunch , the staff not overly welcoming, bit abrupt, if you provide a play area( we came with my wife's grandson) accidents can happen , the attitude of the staff, was shall we say unpleasant, we left and won't be returning

We enjoyed a great family lunch (20 plus of us) in the upstairs area of the bistro. We had this space to ourselves which was perfect for a large family celebration. Food and service were both excellent. The staff couldn’t have one more to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend! View menu

What a lovely little farm shop and bistro. Been here a a few times when we have been in the area. Plenty of products in the shop as well as the butcher and also the gift shop. The bistro is lovely and relaxed, the service is good and the food is lovely and reasonably priced. Next time we are in the area we will be returning. Great job, keep up the good work.

This is a first rate farm shop. Good coffee and meals but high quality food and service. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. The whole site is very dog friendly which we appreciated. The butcher’s shop is excellent with high quality meat and the best burgers in the universe. Most importantly, the prices here are very reasonable, unlike many farm shops we have visited. Highly recommended.

On holiday and having been failed miserably by Tesco's home delivery we had to go and find some breakfast. We came to Beadlam Grange they could not have been more helpful although busy they found us a space. The food was good the service was excellent and even when a problem was identified it was quickly resolved. In fact we were that pleased we booked Sunday lunch. It is a shame Tesco's failed but out of failure we did find Beadlam Grange every little helps.would recommend to anybody great breakfast. View menu

I am a regular visitor to the farm shop as it great to sit and catch up with friends whilst children plan on the indoor equipment, not to mention that the food and drink is fantastic! This summer, whilst at Beadlam Grange, my 1yo daughter had an extremely frightening accident that resulted in a ambulance taking her to hospital (I should say this accident was in absolutely no way the fault of the business). I cannot commend the staff that day enough for what they did to help her and me. From phoning the ambulance to giving first aid and not to mention the support and reassurance they gave me as her mother in the midst of it all. What an amazing team, thank you so much.

I visited Beadlam Grange Bistro today with my family. We’ve been a few times and enjoyed the Sunday lunch however we’ve been told they no longer serve this anymore. We ordered roast beef roll with roast potatoes. It’s the most horrendous sandwich I’ve ever seen!!!! The beef was very rare and blood made my bread very soggy along with some kind of sauce which was NOT included on the menu. I really think the menu needs adjusting as people need to know exactly what they are ordering. Also all visible staff on mobile phones when customers haven’t received all their drinks or cutlery when already been given their food and is going cold. Really poor service and food we will not be returning!
