I love pulled pork and good grill sauces for decades and have prepared both in bbq centers like Texas (partly by secret family recipes). the smokey sauce was neither smokey nor generally spicy. in the bear claw the sauces customary in similar snacks and restaurants are missing for after seasoning, nicely prepared the crew a pepper sauce with freshly cut chilis. to sweet potato fries (3,50 euro) was the freshly shaved parmesan. the sweet potatoes were not hot enough to shave, but apparently not hot enough so that the cheese did not adhere, but remained at the bottom of the plate. I live in the opposite and wanted to look at this place for some time. the seats in the inner are limited, but there is also a beautiful terrace outside, on which a screen for football matches is set up in summer. I took the recommendation of the staff to eat the Estragon dijon pulled pork sandwich and the sweet potato pomegranates. what a pleasure! the sandwich has a hearty meat portion and the pommes were a dream! I will definitely come back!

I and my partner are on the look for a place to eat over bear claw. as brite on a short holiday here my German is not the best, but the staff was super friendly and has declared the menu. as vegetarian there are 2 options to choose and it has not disappointed us. the recommended beer was also a hit. this hotel would choose 100% for a sandwich in American style with a German touch. the restaurant is sweet and compact with great music! (deformed is my partner pulled chicken sandwich)

my last meal in hamburg. friends had been here last week and recommended it for lunch. seats inside/outside, five minutes walk from the main railway station right at the end of the long row. they serve meat sandwiches (pulled pork, chicken, bark, prepared on different types) and some other suitable options. the coffee was probably the best espresso I had in hamburg. a very pleasant place for a quick lunch or a long sitting (as they also offer free wlan.) very attentive service. close to perfect. we came here looking for something fresh and healthier than anything else we had found. the place really liked us at the end. we sat outside, the waitress was so nice to translate everything and everything we needed. all 3 of us go the pulled chicken sandwich, it consists of brioche bread (the after part of the sandwich, as it becomes muddy), pulled chicken (or pork or bark,) herb salad and a little bit sweet. they have the opportunity to add normal pommes or sweet potato pots that all looked really good. we got the homemade limonade and homemade icy, no one comes sweetened. it was a good price for the quantity and quality of everything. If I ever get back to hamburg, I will definitely come...
