"Extremely shocked by the rudness and unprofessionalism of staff at this resteraunt. We called in at 10.50 after attending a funeral with my mother who was already very upset. The door was wide open with nobody in the bar apart from two managers having a meeting who totally blanked us. We went upstairs to be greeted by a what do you want from a staff member. We replied just coffee to which we got breakfast finished a 10.30 and we are closed till 11.30 Basically get out you are not welcome. We left in shock. What a way to speak to paying customers! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. The staff upset my geiving mother greatly with their rude, ignorant, unwelcoming manner. Disgusting."

We haven't been here for a while, as our last visit wasn't great. We came for tea tonight on the spur of the moment. The food was really good, rib eye steak cooked as I ordered it (medium), the chicken and Ribs was a great choice too. Wasim did a fantastic job looking after us, made sure we had everything we need. Brilliant team member! Service: Dine in

I had a lovely meal on August Bank Holiday Monday with my family. The staff was very courteous, providing quick service and helpful assistance. The food was excellent. They reserved an area for me, my husband, and 15 friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. Thank you to Peter for his help. After an overnight stay, my husband and I didn't need a full breakfast, but the employees were very accommodating and organized a bacon sandwich for us. I would definitely return!

we came to the breakfast this morning for my 84 year old grandfather birthday. her personal was so beautiful (especially her manager) and nothing was too much annoyed. eating was delicious and excellent value for money! they also brought my 3 year old meal times simply warm enough, that may not seem like a big thing, but any place we've ever eaten has given him pinched warm eating that when it is cooled, he has lost interest! the children's knife and the fork have simply lifted it would highly recommend, especially for families with small children xx

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
