"if they hate fluorescent curry and müll poppadom dips, then this is the inder for them. the spicy curries are actually spicy, but full of taste. the corma was rich and cocose. the rice is always well cooked. never had a really oily curry or lack of meat that seems to be common elsewhere! will continue eating here both eating in and take them away and highly recommend if they have tried the other Indians before place and were disappointed."

The Lamb Kattamitta dish was excellent, I highly recommend it. The service was great, and we had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The price per person for the meal was between £10 and £20.

Very nice food. Both lamb curry and chicken jalfrezi were great. Still can't get over the difference in portion size and stlye of a Scottish restaurant chicken pakora and an English one. After trying many takeout options in various locations, I have to say that the Bengal Balti has impressed me the most with their chicken sag balti. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with a touch of extra yogurt that made it even better. I can't praise this curry meal enough - it was truly superb! The service was great too.
