"I was interested in eating at Bien Bien because of the positive reviews, and was hoping the food quality would be similar to my favorite Vegas Thai restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised; in fact, my husband and I ate here twice in one week. I would recommend ordering the beef salad and pad thai. Our server was the owner, and he went out of his way to make sure our water carafes were never empty on a VERY hot Paris evening. He also owns Bien 2, which is right next door. Both locations have the same menu, so wherever you can get a seat, grab it."

Ohhh, Pad Thai was really great! Very similar to the ones we ate in Thailand. Service was good and quick.

The service was very good and the staff is great. The food was good, but the portions were really small and rice was extra. Overall, an average restaurant; not really worthy of it's current position on the Trip Advisor list.

I just back from Paris, my group tour brought us here for the last meal before leaving Paris and back to Thailand. Yes! I'm Thai and i can say that the taste of food is quite like you eat in Thailand. It's authentic! Très bien!

Went here for dinner and what a nice surprise. Food was well seasoned and pretty authentic. Tom Kha soup was fabulous, we ordered it twice. Duck curry was great. Portions are on the smaller side. Each dish serves just one so if you plan to share, order more. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to eat. It's out the way, cozy, very friendly staff and amazing food!! To be honest. Bien Bien is better than a lot of restaurants in Thailand! You can't go wrong. Close your eyes and pick something. You'll love it!Top tip: tom yum and chef special spicy noodles with beef or pork are a must try!

Had dinner here on my last night in Paris. Waited at least a half an hour because the reviews were good. Was not disappointed. Efficient, thoughtful and attentive service. The food was awesome! Had the green papaya salad, marinated grilled steak with the most delicious sauce and jasmine rice. The salad was mild as ordered so I could taste the flavor of each ingredient--so refreshing. The steak was well seasoned and perfectly medium garnished with fresh tomato and cucumber slices. Highly recommend.

I had dinner twice here (Bien Bien 2) during my business trips - once in March and once in April. Both times we were welcomed with a big smile. Don't have much to say about the place, other than: Bon Apetit :-) ! Great food, quick service, nice little place, wide range of options. The staff is very welcoming and so quick to catch and bring orders. I wouldn't praise the bathroom cleanness, but then again this is never a strong point in the asian restaurants we visited. Make sure to visit if you are in the neighborhood.

After reading so many reviews, I had very high expectation with this restaurant as my partner & I have been searching for authentic Thai food in Paris for the past couple of years and know it is hard to find. We ordered Satay chicken skewers, Pad Thai as well as the Red duck curry. Unfortunately, the flavours were nothing compared to what we ate during our many trips to Bangkok/ Chang mai.Look, the service is good for Paris standards. As for the food, it is not the worst but definitely not the best we have had in Paris.
