"we were a party of five for a dinner at a cold, cold Sunday in april. we had a comfortable table with a beautiful view of the charming village. the service was cheerful and attentive. we all ordered aperitifs that were good and quite expensive., a special house cocktail with chestnut liqueur, good scotch and cognac. the disappointment began with the meunus. there were four shapes, starting with we all chose the menu, three courses with limited selection. the starters showed some unbreeding. we had a cream broth made of foie grass and a foamy cream that covers half a dozen fat chicks. so far, although the chick bowl was served. for the main course we confined ourselves to the basic perigord spins: duck jam, duck breast, cadjau, ribeye steak or a vegetarian plate with kartoffels. of what we could see, there was nothing green that was contained everywhere. the portions were sufficient, but there were no traces in the preparation. at this price they expect some manifestation in the composition, and at least correctness: the steak ordered rare came medium rare pink; the duck ordered pink came ****. everyone decided to have a fit on dessert and simply has coffee. that was a mistake. I would not have been surprised if they still had the full each accused as there was no option for two courses at a lower price, but on the bill were counted all the dishes to the a la carte trips. we didn't notice at that time or we said something. when it happened, our overall result came the same, but if we had all ordered the most expensive choices, we would have paid more than if we had taken desserts! the wine list was small, but well selected and reasonable. the bottom line is decent, but I had more exciting offers for three courses with a reduction for skipped dessert."
