"I stopped off for a meal on my way home from a business trip. Service was very friendly and efficient, without being pushy. I had a couple of questions about a couple of the dishes and my server was able to answer one and double-checked the other with the kitchen quickly. I ordered the starter of King Scallops on crispy bacon with a pea puree and turned it into a main course by adding sides of chunky chips and Orzo side salad. Both of the side dishes were generous portion sizes and the chips were some of the best I've ever tasted. The scallops were cooked just right, the bacon was crispy, and the pea puree excellent. I really enjoyed the meal, and at just over £18 as effectively a main meal felt it was well worth it. Beer was also very good. I also really liked the fact that tables were laid out with reasonable space between them so it did not feel crowded."

Booked a night away to visit family and hoped we had made the right choice as it was a pub with rooms. Guy I spoke to on phone was very helpful and finding a room to suit my needs. Wanted ground floor and walk in...

We have stayed here a number of times very impressed by the efficient friendly staff, the rooms are spacious well equipped but not a great view for folk like us accustomed to Scottish residences, the restaurant menu was new on the day...

A well appointed, pleasant place with pheasants wandering round. The food was excellent didn't pretend to be Michelin starred but was priced appropriately. Wine was also very good at sensible prices. Overall experience excellent so would happily go again. We were having a night out at the nearby Salmesbury Hall and this was a great place to dine as there are no evening dining facilities there.

Booked The Bluebird Inn for my 80th birthday celebration, from first contacting the Inn we found the General Manager Peter very friendly and and helpful, the area of the Inn suggested for us was perfect for our needs giving us plenty of space to accommodate all our guests and room to socialise. We chose buffet number 2 and we were not disappointed the food was excellent both in quality and quantity on the day the staff went out of their way to ensure myself and my guests had an enjoyable afternoon.

Stayed as we were attending a wedding nearby. Arrived to a warm welcome. Room was lovely and had everything we needed. It was warm and very spacious and had lots of places to put luggage in. It also was very clean and comfortable. We did not have dinner there however breakfast was delicious and very accommodating for everyone and staff were lovely. Other features included were free wifi, freeview TV and electric car chargers, which were not advertised but worked and saved us from having to go somewhere else. Booking was very easy, check-in was done prior to getting there. Very good value. Would definitely recommend.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
