"Stopped by here on a busy evening due to the Jazz Festival. Despite being very busy we were fortunate that a table for four became free on the pavement. The Waiter took great care to ensure it was fully clean and re-dressed before we were allowed to sit. Service was good, drinks, menus and orders were all taken in good time. The mackerel starter and fish soup starters are delicious, and the soup piping hot. Main courses of the Sardines and the chefs special the fish choucroute (sauerkraut) with a fine selection of shellfish and smoked, white and salmon fish were exceptionally tasty and substantial. The special dessert Keuing-Armann et Pomme Confite - a sweet and buttery pastry topped with a poached apple, served with caramel vanilla ice cream was utterly delicious too.Great ambiance in the narrow side street full of eateries and people added to the experience.Good Value, drinks not too expensive, great staff.Worth seeking out."

Something in the middle. Too greasy Ceasers salad. Too crowdy. Bread was nit fresh. One of the glasses was dirty.

I'll give you a restaurant. Among him. The number of dishes offered excellent, I liked the sauerkraut of the sea.

While looking for a reasonable place to have dinner in Vannes we found this place, with good seafood and nice service. Not amazing but good enough.

A change of map has been made since the last time I went there and really it is worth the detour it is visually beautiful and gustatively speaking it is perfect prices are acceptable for a brewery.

A lovely building located in a beautiful centuries old street. There was quite a reasonable Menu choice and we both enjoyed our meals. Sadly, the young waitress was APPALLING. It's a long time since we've been served by someone so offhand and who gave every impression of not wanting to be there. A real shame, especially as the setting is otherwise idyllic.

We stopped here for dinner as a family. My partner had the menu du jour, which included a smoked mackerel paté and a bavette de boeuf, both of which were very good. I had the soupe de poissons, which was rich and excellent, followed by the moules à la Roquefort, which was delicious. The mussels were perfectly fresh-tasting, and the sauce did not overwhelm them. We finished with the kouign amman, a local specialty (like a caramelized croissant) for dessert, which was also delicious. Service was excellent, the wine was very good, and compared to prices at the waterfront restaurants (and some of the ones in the city centre) in this beautiful town, it was very good value. Recommended.

Given the views expressed in these reviews, this place has an intermittent problem with customer service. Some really enjoying the experience and others hating it. I fall into the latter category. We booked a table for dinner at 8.30. The first two courses arrived in reasonable time, and we're actually quite good. The problem came when we ordered dessert. Which actually never came. The restaurant had been busy but was emptying fast. The staff were running around frantically preparing for tomorrow. We waited and waited. Twice we went to find the waitresses to ask for our food and still we were ignored. Eventually we walked out, at which point the staff came after us reporting our food was read...
