"I start by saying that the management has changed since October ( fortunately I was in this small, but very well cared, sushi corner with my family. Manami, the owner, offered us how to welcome the clouds of dragon far away light years from those to which we are accustomed and the teasies made by his mother. The attention of manami is incredible, since it has also given us to recommend how it was better to match the appetizers. when we ordered manami was super available, adapting the menu proposals to our goats (for example I was undecided between the tartare of salmon and that of capasanta, manami created one that contained both.) as it was my birthday, he also asked me what fruit I liked, creating a very special caipirinha made with sake. I also emphasize the attention to the small details: soya and wasabi made by them, top service also for wine, etc.I look forward to returning to try other dishes!"

Nothing to write home about. Dishes are good still they are just mimicking the real japanese recipes. Service is polite and quick. Prices average to high.

The restaurant manager was extremely kind, so 10+ for service. Soy sauce is home made, lovely. Sushi was good, nice presentation and nice taste. The restaurant is small but very cosy. I will return.

small x luck has a dehors and cozy, family run of authentic nippo-brailiani. serves excellent dishes of classic Japanese cuisine, enriched by a small innovation. its strength lies in the freshness and goodness of raw materials. perhaps slightly more expensive than the average, but it is absolutely worth it.

I'm absolutely delighted I've found this place. It's cozy, elegant and a must go place. I have found the perfect place where to eat DELICIOUS food. Extremely fresh ingredients, excellently prepared. If I have to spend my money for high quality food and service, THIS is the place where I'd go. Pictures can't describe the deliciousness and freshness of the food. Oh, watch out for their HOMEMADE soya sauce, it's EXTREMELY addictive. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would.

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
