Stop in after a cycle ride in Cupar Angus. Food and service were really good. I had the steak pie and it was really well presented piping hot and the steak was really tender. Service was good and would definitely go back next time in the area

My fiance and I stayed overnight on a Saturday in November because we couldn't get a room at the Red House in Coupar Angus. We had a lovely big room with a double and a single bed, lovely toiletries and a great bathroom. Our breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the only reason I have given a four is because the porridge came with sugar in it and I prefer mine with salt. Otherwise the whole experience was lovely and we are planning a return visit for lunch at the end of the year

This Inn was amazing that we received a call the day before our arrival to say that the hot water was in the rooms, but showers worked because it was too late to find anywhere we stayed. The rooms were very clean single glazing windows were decorated. Dinner was really good that we had read previous reviews. Breakfast the two couples already in the dining room had waited for their cooked breakfast for over an hour. When they arrived at their tables, we decided that we would go and get something to eat in Perth, it turned out that it was the manager who was cooked.

After we just visited the Christmas market in the village, we thought we had some lunch at Burrelton Pub and also warmed up. First, the restaurant was cool, but we thought we would stay and taste the food. What a disappointment. There were 5 of us and while I can only check for myself, it was terrible. we waited about 45 minutes. At first the tea was brewed and not hot. then my toast arrived, which was at best tepid. Everything really disappointed. The waitress said she would reduce the teas and coffees, but as I had sent my toast back, I didn't expect to argue why I didn't have to pay for it. I will definitely not be back what a shame is because it could be a really great place.

We have been here on numerious occasions great service and food. This time was a total dissapointment. We booked a table for 6.30 pm. On being seated we were given the festive menu. Two adults and 3 juniors.The festive menu was not suitable for the juniors so we were reluctantly given the childrens menu. We always go here Xmas eve and the normal menu has been availableWe chose off the festive menue but would have liked more choice. We were not given the drinks menu when we asked for two glasses of wine. We had to ask for water as well.
