"... when this tiny brasserie/restaurant was open for lunch, we were served well, with a waitress working as if she was on the scene of the nearby Com'edie Franc, aise, and actively engaging customers. The manager, though, was displaying the typical Parisian caf'e's attitude of non-service.According to a few reviews, this is not the usual case. The place was quite empty. However, I can imagine that when the crammed dining room is full and the staff under stress, it can quickly become hell.Prices are not low and the food quite simple, but what to expect if the place is close to the Louvre and to a prestigious theatre."

Small cozy café. The tables are small for 4 people. The baguette tasted very well. Breakfast is available.

Great place - cheap and pleasant! Nice personnel, top location...everything was perfect! The food is also delicious

Waited for about 10 mins and didn't get served. The lack of acknowledgement of us being there also led to the waiter serving others who arrived 5 mins after us, first. Au revoir.

We came for lunch and asked for a table inside. Using a provocative face, the waiter (lady) told us to pick one by ourselves in the end of the restaurant. After wait for 10 min without no answer, no order and nothing, we just gave up.Horrible customer service. View menu

This was a cute cafe that we went to because it was near the attraction we were seeing. It would have been nice to sit outside, but seating was packed. The food was not very memorable. I had hot chocolate that was okay. The bread was very dry. Not particularly impressed. The service was also not very good.

We popped in one late night for dessert and was pleasantly surprised. We had the chocolate mousse and it was served with speckaloos on top. We had no idea was that was...was thinking it was sprinkles! Turns out they are ground up cookies that are called speckaloos and they have a cinnamon flavor. It was so good on the mousse that we went looking for speckaloos at the local grocery store the next day! Thanks for turning us onto speckaloos and we will be back next time in Paris!

We came to the restaurant after costing the louvre on Bastille day. The staff are wonderful with a good understanding of English as unfortunately I am not very good with speaking in French the decor of the restaurant is lovely and quaint. The food was amazing I had a lasagne which was so soft and creamy best I have ever tasted my boyfriend had a cheese and ham toastie which he said was the best ever. I would recommend coming into here for lunch / dinner after visiting the louvre. View menu

This is a great little tourist eatery with a cramped sidewalk to eat on but it is worth it!We did a quick lunch here and the hot dog, I know what you are thinking, was great. So this was not a Nathan's dog but the Paris version of the American standard. BUT this dog has an inch of cheese melted on it and that is what makes it work. The cheese dog as some call it is all over Paris and while they are a plenty they are not all equal and this place makes one of the best! The sidewalk view was worth it and the staff a laugh.

After visiting the Grand Palais we saw this Cafe with a great outdoor section in a busy area which would be perfect to people watch. Our waiter was simply brilliant! He spoke good English, recommended wines and had a laugh with us every time he came to the table. We accidentally ordered the wrong item from the menu - he came over and after having a big laugh the right cheese board arrived. He even took our photos and tried to get other tables involved. We sadly didn't get his name, but after being in Paris for 5 days we had never met such an interactive and fun waiter who truly made our day!!!
