"We thought this looked like a nice place to have dinner after a long tiring day, so we walked up to the waiter and asked for a table, but he said we can 't please go . Wow, not sure why he kept refusing when there were...loads of free tables, and in fact 2 tables also got vacated, maybe I was Indian, maybe. But to keep it simple, we were refused service. But since the kids were famished we took takeaway (I was really tired to search for another place and we still had to get back to Zurich). Felt humiliated, to say the least, but I didn 't have the energy to argue why he was refusing to serve us so I just left it at that. But it surely leave a terrible taste in mouth, not the food I mean, this experience, first time ever to happen. And moreover when I could see him sitting other folks so was really perplexed."

We were looking for a restaurant open on a Sunday evening in the town centre. There are a lot of options in the Piazza del Riforma, but we decided to continue our walk in the old town and we stumbled upon this place. The first...thing we noticed was how the friendly the personnel was. One thing a decent number of waiters in Ticino are guilty of is being a bit austere in their manner and be in a constant hurry. Here, the staff was friendly, smiling, ready to tolerate our half baked Italian with quite good humour. The drinks before the meal were very good, the food was great, and the Tiramisu is to die for. An excellent experience, keep up the good work, and alla prossima!
