Courtesan - Menu

What an experience!! Went to courtesan to celebrate a friend's birthday and wow! The show was INCREDIBLE, so lively and authentic. Houseofmarijames was 10/10, oozed talent. Very pricy drinks but deffo worth it for a special evening.

Dim sum type of food concept, we went there to celebrate a riuniom among friends and it was the ideal solution as it also offered a burlesque show while we were having dinner. The focus is not the food but is the overall experience food Is ok but not wow.

The highlight of the restaurant was its presentation. It had a very upscale atmosphere, but the dim sum was just average. Coming from Chinatown, it was difficult to find the same level of quality and authenticity elsewhere. The food could have been more flavorful.

Went for anniversary dinner and had a brilliant blowout dim sum was delicious (Bao, dumplings, vegetables), good (and reasonably priced) wine list, they mix a very nice martini, have friendly staff, and there was a really fun drag and burlesque show. Will definitely go back.

What a fantastic evening! The singer was incredible and so talented, and the dancer was equally amazing and beautiful. The food and cocktails were delicious, and the old-timey, speakeasy music was a perfect touch. I loved the atmosphere and it was definitely a highlight of my trip to London. I'm puzzled as to why it's not rated higher, though! ¯ (ツ) ¯

Such a wonderfully intimate venue. The food and drinks were delicious and the show was mesmerising from beginning to end. I took my girlfriend and a large group of her friends for her birthday and the staff were so accommodating for a large group, some of which had quite strict dietary requirements. All in all it was a wonderful evening and we're very much looking forward to returning.

After realising they had overbooked for the cabaret (and way after taking our pre-paid entry/table deposit), we were treated as if their confusion with their own system was our fault and shown the most unreasonable hostility and disrespect from, I assume, a manager. There's many other options for similar cuisine and entertainment around Brixton, this place is not worth your time or money.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant tonight. We attended their burlesque Halloween party and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The food was fresh and tasty, the cocktails were great, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because some of the dishes were a bit expensive for the portion sizes. Overall, it's a fantastic place and I highly recommend it.

I wish that I could give it a 0; unbelievable how my husband and I were treated yesterday. We went to the restaurant for dinner. We drove from Kent, and I wanted to introduce him to your establishment which was empty. The waiter printed the page with the qr code and placed it on the table. My husband asked if we could have a regular menu, and he replied no. He said that the standard menu is a past thing and will no longer be available for environmental reasons of saving paper. We believe this a double standard as paper was used to print the code, which is then presumably disposed of, as opposed to a (laminated? sheet that only needs be changed with the menu.
