Craven Arms Cruck Barn

This is the best pub in Yorkshire, and I've tried quite a few. They have excellent beer, particularly the Old Peculiar, delicious food, a wonderful atmosphere, and a fantastic location. The Shepherd Huts are a nice touch as well!

We stopped for a pint after a walk with our dog and I had Appletreewick dry cider and my husband had wharfedale blonde very nice staff were very friendly and efficient 2 lovely log fires inside and we had battered fish sandwiches with mushy peas and chips delicious.

came today to lunch after a visit to Bolton abbey for birthday. I had the fish-finger sandwich, and the other half had the steak and Ale-Pie, for which you should die! and to defeat everything from the sticky toffee pud is a sinful joy! will definitely visit this little piece yorkshire again!

This charming country inn offers a wonderful setting full of character and a delightful atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, providing excellent service, and the food is amazing. I stayed for two nights in the Shepherd Hut glamping and I would definitely recommend it! It's also dog-friendly. Thank you!

an amazing pub, the menu was to die, difficult to make a final decision. so we have to go back and plow through the menu. my choice was better than my expectations, I chose the lamb skirt, cooked to perfection and the red carrotjun was amazing, my hubby had Ponsh fish and chips and that they were ... the pub itself is oldworlde and quirky, great customer service even to busy times ....

we stayed this weekend in the shepherd huts on the back of the pubs. it was the annual beer festival. we had such a good time! the cabins are delightful with all the creatures comfort of the house: comfortable double bed, floor heating, wc and heavenly hot showers! exactly what was needed in the rainy, windy weekend. the pub itself is a small jewel with open fires, gas lights and warm, welcoming atmosphere. great eating, great staff, this place really has everything and I can't expect to come back!

We stayed here last night, something different to celebrate my husbands Birthday. The Shepherds hut was fantastic, everything you could need. Something different than a b&b. We had tea in the Craven Arms. Fantastic service from the staff. Food was excellent. We both had the fish and chips and it was the best we’ve had in along time. We really enjoyed just being able to sit and chill with a drink in a real pub with a fire.Was nice to see people fetching their dogs in too and that they were welcomed. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back.

As the celebrant from Starr Gazing Ceremonies, I had the honour of performing a wedding ceremony at Cruck Barn at The Craven Arms which is indeed a very special wedding venue. Richard, Tilly, and the entire team at The Craven Poor went above and beyond to make my husband and me feel special on our wedding day. They decorated the space beautifully, and the food was extraordinary. They even cleaned my wedding dress after I accidentally spilled red wine on it! We have been regular visitors since we booked our wedding in January 2016, and we plan to continue visiting for the rest of our lives. The staff always gives us a warm welcome and provides consistently top-notch, friendly service, making us eager to return with smiles on our faces.
