"I thought I'd try the Curry Leaf while staying in the area. As a real curry fanatic, I'm hard to please because I have Ocean Rd, South Shields on my doorstep (at home) and every other restaurant is a curry house. Curry Leaf makes a good first impression because the tables aren't crammed in and parking outside (on the road) is plentiful. The menu is varied and the food is good. Cobra, Kingfisher and Tiger beer (also cider) was on the wine list which is another plus point. I enjoyed my meal, even though the starter and main course had been so filling, I felt that a dessert would only feed that middle age spread I seem to be suffering from."

This is the second time we have visited the Curry Leaf whilst staying in the Forest of Dean. Easy to get to, plenty of parking in the high street and always a table ready for you. Friendly staff, clean, good service and great food, what more do you want!

This restaurant is amazing, but it is not licensed so you can bring your own alcohol. They provide glasses for you. The menu is very diverse and easy to navigate. The food did take a little while to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the Forest of Dean. View menu

I visited this restaurant on a whim because it was close to where I was staying. As someone who loves curry, I was intrigued by this place and it did not disappoint. I ordered my favorite dish, chicken madras, and though the waiter suggested I try one of their specialties, I decided to stick with my usual. The bill came to around £20, which included drinks, poppadoms, my main dish with rice, and a side of roti. If I find myself in the area again, I may give one of their specialties a try. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

My partner and I regularly visit this restaurant, and we always enjoy trying something new each time. Their value nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays offer a starter and a main course with either rice or naan for £10.95 (excluding prawn dishes). You will need to bring your own alcoholic beverages. It's best to go earlier in the evening if you're in a rush, as the restaurant tends to get very busy. Since everything is cooked fresh, there may be a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend this curry house.
