"We recently had the pleasure of dining at Diwali on George Street, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Our group of five was promptly seated, and from the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with beautiful décor that sets the perfect tone for an evening of delicious Indian cuisine. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and each of us found something to love. From the starters to the mains, every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the portions were generous, leaving us fully satisfied by the end of our meal. The butter chicken, in particular, was a standout dish, rich and creamy, and the naan bread was some of the best we've had. Service was impeccable, with our server being both knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The pacing of the meal was just right, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Overall, our experience at Diwali was nothing short of excellent. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, I highly recommend this restaurant. We left with happy hearts and full bellies, and we’ll definitely be returning for another great meal."

The lunch offer from 12:30 to 3pm is a must-try in Dublin. This Indian restaurant is undeniably the best in the city.

We stopped by for lunch and were blown away by the amazing food! Coming from the States, we are used to Indian and Nepalese cuisine, but the flavors here were truly outstanding. View menu

Fabulous meal with friends Noise level was a little too high due to a rather large group of stag party This was not the fault of the restaurant and did not deter our enjoyment of the food etc

The place was mostly empty at 8:30pm on a Sunday but the noise level was so high I couldn't hear anything from my partner. Had to ask three times for a jug of water. The person setting the table literally through the cutlery down on the table. The food was nice but a eaten here before and it wasn't as nice as before which was a shame. Won't be any rush back.

"I ordered a cake for my husband’s 50th Birthday having perused their website and deciding on a cake in the shape of the number 50 to mark this momentous occasion. The girl that took my order asked for a message and knowing that space would be limited, I decided on a short message. She asked me whether I wanted a photo which I had not considered due to the design of the cake but then decided to add this also. I paid for the cake. I collected the cake today and to my horror it was simply just a square cake with no 50! This was supposed to be presented at a surprise party tomorrow- I was so upset and shaking on the verge of tears after all my planning and more than two weeks notice. The staff only made excuses, like the person who took the order would not get things wrong, they didn’t do digits anymore, and there was not enough bakers, yet this was on their website and I had given clear instructions- a square cake could be ordered from anywhere- I was also told that digit cakes were much more expensive and could cost around £70??? I told them that I was willing to pay the costs- buying a cake for an important occasion was not a price problem- I was offered icing of 5 and 0 to be placed on either side of the photo and some cheap number candles. I told them I already had a topper and sparklers which were supposed to go on each of the digits- really disappointed with the service and poor excuses- The cake was supposed to be the centrepiece at the party but the order was not fulfilled"

"it is all to change again, but thanks to the coffee is ace really top notch, shaded and perfectly roasted. funny enough while we find the rich from latte to macchiato, cappuccino by flat white etc. gibraltar is nowhere to find, not as much as. the customized glass. the personal remains as cheerful as always, despite the fact that their business must be desperate, and their reasonable prices remain the same. it's only here again with another lock-off, but the policy doesn't call it a lock. These people are still paid, they enjoy nominated wage increases (imaginable that they can decide on their own wage increases and who have recently given their support staff (in many cases family members a wage (and associated pension) increase. maya like so many companies have lots of things at a theke near the door to sanitise and here is the thing that the type that makes the coffee I can go, feet stand from him and give him money to pay and take a coffee and change from him. but if he had this machine in his kitchen, I couldn't go for a free coffee in his house. I could work with him all day, but I could not sit for a beer with him in a local bar for half an hour, but we could meet in the local church for an hour service. So look. So they think about how important it is to help small independent, especially in these strange times when the only certain are dead, control and grab money, dishonest politicians."
