"We recently had the pleasure of dining at Diwali on George Street, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Our group of five was promptly seated, and from the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with beautiful décor that sets the perfect tone for an evening of delicious Indian cuisine. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and each of us found something to love. From the starters to the mains, every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the portions were generous, leaving us fully satisfied by the end of our meal. The butter chicken, in particular, was a standout dish, rich and creamy, and the naan bread was some of the best we've had. Service was impeccable, with our server being both knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The pacing of the meal was just right, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Overall, our experience at Diwali was nothing short of excellent. Fabulous meal with friends Noise level was a little too high due to a rather large group of stag party This was not the fault of the restaurant and did not deter our enjoyment of the food etc

The place was mostly empty at 8:30pm on a Sunday but the noise level was so high I couldn't hear anything from my partner. Had to ask three times for a jug of water. The person setting the table literally through the cutlery down on the table. The food was nice but a eaten here before and it wasn't as nice as before which was a shame. Won't be any rush back.
