"Cafe Man is a local café at the end of a number of terrace houses in a very industrial area. From outside, it is the last place you expect to find a number of vegan options. A good selection also see photo for menu Jan 2022. The staff really knew everything about the requirements even to the extent they told me that I could not have a role because they had milk, but the sliced bread was milk free. I had a Vacon sandwich, with chips and a big house made folding jacket, which was nice. The other half had a Linda Mc fishcake. They even had vegan Mayo and salad cream! There is a separate fryer for the vegan stuff and they take gluten free seriously, even they even have a separate toaster. Impressive effort and knowledge. Many larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff at Cafe One. So friendly. Parking is located on a residential street right in front of the house. There are not many vegan options here, so this was a very welcome find. Updated by previous rating on 2022 01 28"

"We've visited several times and it's always a pleasure. Lovely atmosphere with a good selection on their menu and a wonderful place to stop for a bite to eat. Prices are quite reasonable (especially for what you get and the service you get compared to the well known chain coffee places . Leaving a review today because we always enjoy our experience but in particular today we visited very close to closing time without realising how late it was getting. The staff very kindly offered to serve us for just coffee and cake which was exactly what we were wanting, and we sat outside with the dog : There were four of us visiting; the selection of cakes we tried were all excellent but the key lime pie was the star of the show! Highly recommended."

"We don't eat out very often these days and a short trip into Blyth for lunch suits us well. We love Sambuca. Pizza, glass of wine and finished with an espresso is just perfect. We are pretty fussy about pizza. Must be thin and crispy crust. Just what we get here. The staff are always welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We like to order 2 different pizzas and share half of each. No problem at Sambuca, the chef does half and half for us. So much easier than trying to cut them in half and pass them between us at the table. Thanks, Sambuca. We won't be your biggest spending or frequent customers but definitely most appreciative."

"only in the cottage next to charlton pub. recently discovered the opposite very friendly manager who served me coffee ice cream for my grandson. spacious walk along the beach with small children's park close to. real quiet, clean little jewel on the north-western coast. how happy I am that we found this place. my dog is crazy about cambois beach, he just loves it like me. so many friendly doggie people to speak on our walk from flu wansbeck to Nord-Blyth when the curse is out. the shack make amazing fish chips when they have worked up an appetit. we are now solid fans of Sunday dinner at charltons. very tasty choice of 4 meats with good portions vegetables served by very friendly girls. Tomato soup star is fabulous, how is pudding especially apfel crumbcake. highly recommended."

"It’s 5 mins after finishing the meal and I feel compelled to write this review. Absolutely awful. I ordered a starter of butterfly king prawn, this came in a soggy batter with one small prawn in each, the prawn being about 1/20 the size of each piece of soggy batter. My main course I ordered Sri Lankan King prawn, the sauce was quite nice but the 7 small prawns was no what I was expecting. A full takeaway tray full of sauce and a slice of lemon and 7 small prawns which I had to fish around to find. Ordered at Pan Ahar for the very first time tonight on the advice of a neighbour. I won’t be ordering from here ever again, atrocious is not an exaggeration. They were very very busy and although the pick up time was 9pm we waited in a queue until approx 9.30pm. Maybe this is why the meal was so poor, I don’t know, but it’s no excuse. The photo shows the remains amount of the butterfly prawn, about 75% of it, one small prawn in amongst it. Pitiful."
