"Have previously had a good experience here when it was a little quieter. The way the cafe works needs to be reviewed. When it’s busy the rule is ‘find a clean table before ordering’ but when it’s busy this just results in people hovering over tables waiting to be cleaned which is not a nice experience for customers or for members of staff who can have customers hounding them and standing over them to clear a table. It also results in customers having to compete for tables and quite often means people getting annoyed at each other, which is never a great start to an experience. I witnessed some less able customers losing out on tables because others were able to rush to an empty table before them. It’s not really a problem you should have as a customer. ‘It’s been like this for X amount of time and has worked’ isn’t an excuse when it could easily be made a more stress free and enjoyable experience. Why not have a ‘please wait to be seated’ sign where a staff member can guide customers to a cleared table, pop down some menus and then ask them to order at the counter? There are multiple ways it could be improved with very little overhead. I really like the cafe and the staff, please just improve your seating process!"

Had a steak pie. NO that is not a steak pie. Onions and carrots. That is a hot pot . Had to take back . Disappointed. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

Visited today for story with Santa. What a brilliant magical experiemce. Our grand daughters really enjoyed their visit to Santa's grotto. A magical 1 hour of interactive fairytale fun. Brilliant Elf and Superb Santa.

It's a wide ranging Garden Centre which offers a range of garden plants and accessories but other household goods. More up market than many local garden places. The centre has evolved and grown since it first opened. Much bigger ranges of garden plants even seasonal. View menu

Staff too busy watering plastic plants( YES FAKE PLANTS) when disabled folks in big que waiting to get served. And took ages to open up second till. Cafe is ok, but always busy they leave air con and doors open when it’s freezing outside so always a draft. And it’s a bit of pricey size as 3 coffees and toasties £45!!!

Spent most of the afternoon here starting with an afternoon tea in the cafe. Beautifully presented with a lovely selection of sweet and savory, I liked how you got to choose your sandwich filling safe to say all the cakes got taken home! Wide selection of plants etc although we were visiting for the christmas selection gifts.
