The most dreadfully rude staff, the worst customer experience I have had the misfortune to endure. Such a shame the staff are so awful, could be such a nice place to go. Disgusting experience. My advice, just don’t go. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Lovely place enjoyed my soup starter very much enjoyed my Eton mess pudding very much too but the main meal was warmish and looked as if it had been plonked on the plate not presented very well. Absolutely shocking way to treat customers. New waitress (useless) Gave us menus of which we ordered from, then we asked for the bill and the wine was £4 extra PER GLASS from the menu, the steaks were very tough to chew, overcooked and Craig the manager threw the revised bill on the table and walked off Never again AVOID Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I love the food and atmosphere here. The prices are a little high, almost £5 for a coke and nearly £20 on average per main meal. The food is good, but I do wish the portions were bigger (the only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars) I always have to order sides/extras to bulk up my meal. The set menu is great value for money though. A very welcome, unplanned visit one autumn afternoon whilst making our way or a walk around Cosmeston County Park: this excellent restaurant is a perfect venue for the short trip to or from the park. We booked a table online which was straightforward. Plenty of parking space. The interior is really tasteful and cosy, with the tables being well spaced. The service throughout was excellent. The lunchtime menu was wide ranging, great value, and most importantly absolutely delicious. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be going back!
