"We ordered a salad with pecorino cheese to start. There was so little pecorino we could not find it.Then as a main dish the chicken in guazzetto. We had to wait so long that I drained my waissbier. When the waiter finally arrived I could not believe my eyes. There were only two small pieces of chicken in the entire dish. The rest was vegetables. Even nouvelle cousine looks abundant compared!!!I asked the waiter at that time to bring me another beer.We finished our chickens, the beer did not come, nobody bothered coming to our table for another half an hour, so I got fed up, got up and went to the cashier to pay. There, I met a ridiculous guy who, I guess, was the manager. He wears a pair of pointy mustaches that I assume he considers very fashionable... He was somewhat offended that I had the nerve to get up instead of waiting for my waiter to pay. I explained that I really wanted also dessert but the waiting was so long that we decided to go elsewhere. Instead of apologies I received an unpleasant attitude. Best of all my beer arrived when we already left the table, the genius waiter left it anyhow on the table and the genius manager left it anyhow on the bill to be paid. The temperature was 90 outside and 85 inside (a/c not working properly). Overall a horrific experience!!!!!Guys don't go there, nothing but aggravations!!!"

The location is great as well as the overall atmosphere. The restaurant offers business lunch and I would definitely recommend it. The food was good and a small dessert is also included. The price was 13,50 Euro.

I took a lamb carré, the meat was awesome. I asked the waitress if it was fat, before ordering it, she said no; unfortunately the meat hat much more fats than expected and, as I reported it to the waitress, she offered either an extra piece of lamb to compensate, or a digestive after dinner. The quality of the food is very good, I would go there again. View menu

After going around the museum, we took our late lunch here. Got a table inside but facing the building with columns. Because we were so hungry, we ordered fried calamari as starter, mushroom and spinach ravioli and as main course had chicken dish. They all tasted so delicious!!! The serving was good and 3 of us shared. For dessert, we shared a New York cheese cake that was also good. I came up so happy & satisfied.

Breakfast is good but the place finish serving it at 11.30 during the week, 12.00 on the weekend without exceptions, precise German time. So not getting our breakfast and feeling too early for lunch we went for coffee and cake, which was a smart decision, great selection of 5-7 cakes, all look wonderful and I can highly recommend the lemon cheese cake!! Next time I plan to try out the lunch, neighboring tables were very tempting. The restaurant has a great view on one of the most beautiful places in Munich (Köningsplz), easy to arrive, U-bahn 1/2 are 2 min away

We were planning to eat at the ELLA Restaurant before paying a visit to the Lenbachhaus but our good intentions got stopped by an unfriendly waiter.First of all we waited 10 minutes for the menu which at the end we picked up ourselves because the waiter seemed not to have seen us. When he finally came we ordered just two beverages which he then throwed at our table without saying a word and even not to the right person (and we were only two). Is this due to the fact that he thought we are not germans as he seemed pretty friendly to the other german customers? We will never know as we never got the chance to speak to him.All in all a very deceiving experience. View menu

After walking tour of 3 hours you will want to make a note to come here for fabulous service and food. Location is Luisenstrauss 33, close to City Center. Warmly greeted by a hostess and seated. (Did not have that experience in other German restaurants.)Did not know it but this is where I had my best meal in Munich. Tuna tartare was outstanding. It helped to have had an English menu and had a wide variety to choose. Never saw such a variety of desserts. Best strudel I had during my time in Germany. Highly recommend asking for Roxana who was my server. Her expertise and attitude was refreshing. You can tell that she likes what she is doing. Modern & clean ambiance.

I live in the neighborhood and my friends and I have been to this restaurant numerous times, it is a great location with good food and a nice view of Konigsplatz, however on my last visit I was very disappointed in the customer service. I...ordered the fish fillet and when it came I realised that it was raw didn't see it on the menu and nor did the other people at my table who ordered it and I am pregnant so unable to eat raw fish. When I explained the situation to the waiter instead of taking it off the bill he told me that I should have read it on the menu and not ordered. I was made to feel terrible for an honest mistake. Finally in the end, they took it off the bill but only after a ster...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
