"The service, atmosphere and view are spectacular! The food is good but not quite up there...FOODThe food is all organic, which is probably why the prices are astronomical for such small portions. You can really tell that the chef puts in lots of effort to to try and make it top class but I am afraid that the "organic" side of things is putting him into a corner. Yes, your dish will be the healthiest you've had in your life but like a lot of healthy food, it will not compare to something not as organic you've had at other amazing Monaco restaurants. GMOs and chemicals are, after all, used to enhance taste. My favourite part of the meal was actually the olive oil. They bring out 4 types and then tell you a story about each one, casually pointing in the direction the oil came from. Very interesting and delicious!ATMOSPHEREYou would have to be a snob to say that the atmosphere is less than perfect. The terrace overlooks the sea and you get to see busy Monaco on the opposite shore. Beautiful! There are wide umbrellas to provide some shade. Sitting there, listening to the waves crash beneath you, it is hard not to really truly relax. SERVICEAgain, absolutely amazing. It's like the waiters can *feel* that you need their attention. Always there, always polite and extremely knowledgeable. Some of the best service I've ever experienced."

I've heard that the food here is good, but the owner of this place was very rude.

We had a set menu lunch, welcome drink of champagne, Bellini and kir vin bland was good, the red wine by the glass St Emilion was excellent. Selection of bread, and the different types of olives to try is interesting. Food is not quite up there yet. However the ambiance, service are excellent. We go back again for sure.

My husband and I dined there last night with our 5 month old outside overlooking the water. The staff was exceptional paying attention to every detail, they were also great with the baby. The octopus sampler was very fresh and delicious, the lamb chop was one of the best I've ever had, the fat perfectly trimmed and rendered. The soufflé is a must!

Our compliments to the chef! We were there when the restaurant shifted to the summer menu. The setting was excellent so where the service people. We had ratatouille as well basil-infused wild sea bass and red mullet with veggies. In between the courses we were treated to appetizers with millefeuille and raviolis. The Sicilian style soufflé was impeccable!

Elsa not only is this single michelin started decorated BIO - only restaurant in the Bay of Monaco, is my experience the only real elegantly quiet and Tranquil seaside place. The food is as expected impeccable, delightly presented with an extremely attentive and friendly staff. Big fun and delicious is the old tasting which comes along with the amuse buche.

My previous experience was so stellar, i was eagerly looking forward to a return visit. However, the vegetarian tasting menu was not available any more. In its place, there were scant vegetarian options available. The following evening, the kitchen ran out of the sole dish, thus restricting choices even more. While the food merits a 3-4 star rating, the venue/view/service continue to be exceptional, so its a 4 star this time.I will put in a plug for the organic champagne, quite delicious.

This is what you would expect from a fine French restaurant. This is definitely Michelin star type food and service. The dinner and service were impeccably presented. The server staff was highly knowledgeable about the origin of the food prepared and presented. They had excellent suggestions such as the Amaretto sour that was a perfect accompaniment to the Almond souffle, which was absolutely incredible and shouldn't be missed. Of course the price tag is commensurate with the meal and service.

"the location was attractive. a small picturesque square slightly in draw with a foliage and Mediterranean charm. the restaurant had an outdoor terrace but we decided to eat inside. rustic decoration well maintained. abundance of natural stones and plaster walls of rustic color, nice vaulted type ceiling and terracotta tile floor. We loved him. the kitchen was visible on the path of the toilet and everything seemed chief, busy and good omen. Unfortunately, it's the end of the good news. My wife chose to start with the anchovies leaf and I am the raw ham. The anchovie was not good. Very strange flavor. Too salty. hard dough background. My ham was cut too thick, making the meal difficult. I had to ask for olive oil and gem salt. certainly not the best ham I've had. no comparison with parma or iberico. disappointing. the main dishes were the fish pot and the spaghetti with ceps. Both were a disaster. The fish were cut off. filled with small but important bones. the two rather sad gambas were small and boiled to death. the portion of fish and the quality at the price were bad. Maybe the bisque was swept. The pasta was not good and we left them. we paid 72 euros for this and a very small glass of medium wine and a bottle of flat water. I think chin food is usually not good. French are rather complacent and seem to believe that their historical reputation is enough. Not if. the area is very frequented by tourists and I guess most are unlikely to return to the area, so they think they can get away with it. It's a shame and I couldn't recommend this restaurant. we visit the family regularly to chin, so we would like to find a decent restaurant at a reasonable price. even our family seems to have a bad time. Why? It's the france."
