"We had a wonderful experience at the Ely Wine Bar in Dublin. It was a very special day as it was our last day in Ireland. Our attendants Gabriel and Carol made the most out of it for us. Gabriel gave us an excellent recommendation for wine and whiskey and Carol gave us the best recommendations how to celebrate our last day of the journey. The Ely Wine Bar is definitely the best Winebar we've ever been to an we would recommend it to everyone who likes good wine and excellent service. The personalized Service by Carol and Gabriel made us feel like we've been there a plenty of times. We were treated like part of the family and that's the greatest experience we've had on our whole journey. We're definitely gonna come back the next time. Thank you for the wonderful day!!!"

One of very few restaurant options in Grand Canal Dock, but is a solid all round choice with a modestly sized menu but with a great interior. More of a casual Gastro-bar than upscale restaurant but nice in all aspects.

This lovely restaurant is perfect for a date night or business dinner when you want quality food away from the pub scene. Delicious seafood and meat dishes, beautifully presented and excellent service. Our waiter is, Jack, made excellent recommendations and attended to every need. Polenta fries are a must!

What an experience! Make sure you try the wine paring experience. Totally worth it for the price. Came for my friends birthday and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Jacek delivered exceptional Michelin star service for us. The food was beyond expectation. The environment was warm and welcoming. Thank you everyone for a wonderful time.

We had a nice dinner in the wine bar on a Saturday evening . I was a bit concerned when I found out my booking was for a high stool at a high table but it turned out to be fine and was comfortable. The food was tasty and well presented . There is an excellent selection of wines by the glass . The waitress from Lyon was very helpful and knowledgeable about the wine. There was a nice relaxed buzz in the place.

My experience with Ely has always been excellent, however within the last 2 months they no longer do a great steak, which they spent years building up together with great wine pairings. The Fantastic steak on the bone takes too long for the chefs over a busy Christmas period, so customers have now only 1 option 5 small pieces on a plate. A complete disaster and disappointment. The waiters told me they want a quick and easy turnover over the Christmas. Why not increase the price and keep the same steak ? For all the customers that went there for this great steak ITS OVER . Thanks for all the memories Bye Bye

oh, this place is beautiful and the personal is simply wonderful. it is really cooled and relaxed, but they can also come here for a special start or after work contracts. the weeping list is huge and of course they also have bubbly witnesses, but it's that eating here that I love. the tapas style bar menu is great. something for everyone. sweet or spicy, fresh or fried, healthy or feck diet. I can't remember the names of the dishes we had, but we tried a lot of menu and there was no thing we wouldn't order again. look at the photos to see how good the food looks and believe me when I say it tastes better than it looked!

For some reason I'm more familiar with Ely Wine Bar and Brasserie in the IFSC than Ely Wine Bar on Ely Place. We both follow each other on Twitter and Instagram and their photos are always drool worthy. A couple of nights ago I attended an event at Ely Bar. From the food, wine and service we received there I'm really looking forward to returning with my hubby for a date night. The food on offer to us at the event were fresh cheese and meat platters complete with grapes, chutney and olives. We enjoyed delicious burgers and mouthwatering fish pieces like large goujons the light batter was delicious and fish white and juicy. There were also desserts which looked divine but I was a...read more

Our first experience of this wine bar was excellent. We had only been able to book the high stools and I was worried about the comfort but there was no problem with good back support. The service was excellent , staff were all helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They overlapped seamless in this busy restaurant , it was a pleasure to watch. The food was also exceptional,we shared scllops to start and I had onglet steak for main and my husband had duck both were cooked to order and were very tender. The crudite salad was more than enough to share. We loved the atmosphere and would plan to return when next in Dublin, This would probably not be classed as a fine dining restaurant but...
