Lovely pub with excellent food. Stephanie was behind the bar and she went out of her way to welcome us. She was very friendly, chatty and she made our visit very memorable. We will return and hopefully Stephanie will be behind the bar again View menu

Food although good, the service was terrible. The wait for food from ordering was abysmal. People who arrived after we'd ordered were given their food before us. Our wait from paying for our meal to being served was 1 1/4 hours which is unacceptable.

Went for carvery and was five of us in line with meat and Yorkshire pudding and we all had most of the Yorkshire and meat before brought veg out plus’s only one meat to get from all was very bad service but still four hours of food to go not good for business

We frequently visit this pub. The food is consistently good and they offer a wide selection of drinks. The bar staff provide excellent service. We enjoy the variety of board games available and the addition of a pool table is great. The fact that the pub is dog friendly is also a bonus! View menu

The service is an absolute disgrace very rude ignorant staff who cannot even keep the tables clear clean! No bar staff on. The food we was waiting ages for was cold burnt and not edible. The food has really gone downhill, ridiculously overpriced for a small portion of frozen food they threw in to overcook and charge you a fortune for food what was worth £2 a plate if that!! Stay away don't waste your money! It used to be lovely place I don't know what has happened to it

I tried the carvery at this restaurant and overall, it was very good. The gammon was a bit fatty, which was a disappointment, but the rest of the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, which really enhanced the dining experience. My only complaint was the long wait for bar service when ordering, but this was likely due to not enough staff on hand to handle the busy Sunday lunchtime rush. The staff that were there were working very hard. Keep up the good work!

I used the online ordering option from the menu. I had to wait for about 20 minutes for our drinks, which made me question if the website was working properly. I was a bit disappointed by the wait time. However, the non-alcoholic cocktail was very refreshing. The food was not piping hot but still very tasty. The staff seemed a bit confused about our order, as they didn't realize we had ordered two of the same drink instead of just one. We also had to ask for a side of fries as our server didn't bring them after serving the main dishes. We had to get another staff member to prompt our server.
