"This restaurant is a delightful hidden gem. We searched for dining options on our GPS and decided to give this place a try. The charming pub has a fantastic atmosphere, and the woman who appeared to be handling various service tasks was both lovely and efficient. The food is exceptional and beautifully presented; my son declared the burgers to be the best he's ever had, and they were indeed huge! One of my pet peeves is cleanliness in restrooms, but I was pleased to find these ones immaculate and refreshing!"

Can't believe we've never been here before!! The staff were so friendly and lovely food was fabulous,unfortunately could not fit in a pudding the wine also went down well ; .. would definitely recommend and we will be back :

I had a fantastic dining experience with excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. I'm thrilled to see that Freemasons now offers a vegan menu, which features a great selection of delicious main courses and appetizers. Laura's raw chocolate, celestial, and meringue pudding is absolutely divine!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch featuring deliciously cooked beef, lamb, chicken, and a vegetarian option, and we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals. a beautiful little pub serves the finest quality to eat. we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our pipping hot dinner. we drove from newton aycliffe especially for a tasty bite. the personal is wonderful the environment is excellent and I recommend it to everyone. If you want to enter your ladies good books, bring them here. it's a nice tasty.

Always a pleasure to eat at the Freemasons...we are never organised enough to book or we call in unexpectedly and have always been made welcome and squeezed in...we love sitting in the bar area as it has a lovely atmosphere although the restaurant area is lovely too...the staff are delightful and the food is absolutely top notch...our last meal here was simply outstanding...you really couldn't ask for more!!
