Frizza Caffe Gelato (princes Ave)

I have ordered a Phat Burger during the lockdown and it was the best burger I’ve ever had in Hull even if it was delivered at home! Prime quality ingredients, fair prices, plenty of choices. Highly recommended

It seems that they get the order wrong every time we visit, this time we had to ask where our drinks were as they had been completely forgotten. Previously we've had the wrong tables order. Or the wrong pizza. It's crazy how it's so consistent in its badness.

I have had many lunches and deserts from here over the years and the food never disappoints. The staff here are very friendly especially the young, polite lady Megan who went out of her way to make my children feel special which isn’t easy in the current circumstances. She is a credit to this lovely cafe.

We went there for a girls lunch out. The food was very good and we always go back because of the food. However, the staff needs improvement as they tend to be quite rude and unhelpful. Also I find leaving the cutlery on the table in the manner they do, quite unhygienic, and when I asked for new set, the staff was not happy about it saying that “there’s cutlery already on the table”.

The food is decent, but the staff's attitude is horrendous. I placed a delivery order and some items were missing. When I called to inquire, they insisted everything was sent and refused to assist further. They suggested I speak with the driver, who clearly did not have the missing items when I saw him. It is evident they have no concern for customer satisfaction. Avoid ordering from this place, as there are plenty of other great restaurants to choose from.

Ordered £40 worth of food from here the burgers where raw the mince still red in the middle wouldn’t even give it to my dog the waffle I ordered the banana was black rang the store several times they refused to answer JUST EAT has opened an investigation against them as for the staff their attitude is disgusting I’ll be sending these photos to the hull daily mail not so much as a “SORRY” from this vile disgusting place! AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THE MINCE IN THE BURGERS IS RAW ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

Cafe Gelato is a favorite spot for our family, whether we are celebrating a child's birthday, enjoying a pancake breakfast, having brunch with friends, or grabbing a quick bite with our significant other. We have been living in Hull for 5 years and have never encountered any issues during our visits. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Today, we were served by the lovely Smilte, who we have seen several times before and has always been pleasant. Our lunch with my partner was fantastic as usual, with great food and excellent service. We will definitely be returning to Cafe Gelato without hesitation.

I ordered food at this restaurant with my partner, and unfortunately, the teenage girls who served us did not engage in conversation or greet me at the till. When our food arrived, one item was missing. I informed the girl who brought our food, but instead of addressing the issue professionally, she went back to the till and was seen giggling with her colleagues while staring at us. She returned to tell me that I had not ordered the missing item, even though I clearly had. She then insisted that I had to return to the till and pay extra for the item. Overall, the girls were rude and unprofessional. I do not plan on returning.

Visited with my friend after eating at a local restaurant we just wanted a hot drink.We ordered 2 hot chocolates when they arrived we had to take them back as they was not very hot, in fact only Luke warm. They was quickly exchanged. The staff not very friendly. Whilst was was sat chatting one of the staff dropped something we water in which splashed all over my friend. My friend issues a walking stick as well has going up her arm was on the floor near her feet. When the staff came to take the empty cups away my friend mentioned about the water up her arm also on the floor the girl just laughed walked away.
