"to have eaten here a few times before it seemed like the right place for a meal with our family from the country to visit. we were not disappointed, the service was as usual attentive, polite and unmarried; eating excellent large menu not overload confusing, but something for everyone and cooked / presented to perfection, so delicious; a large selection of wine/drinks and a price that reflects the quality of the food, etc., but not extorting. our family loved the whole experience we definitely backed up."

I recently had a great lunch meeting with friends at this charming pub. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a conveniently located carpark on the side of the pub, although I accidentally parked on the High Street. The menu had a nice selection of food, including several vegetarian options. I really enjoyed the beetroot risotto. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20.

Three of us had an excellent lunch yesterday. I highly recommend the whole baked garlic bread starter (although my wife doesn't and our crayfish and cauliflower risotto was plentiful and delicious even if the crayfish were a bit small so we couldn't really taste them. Our friend said his burger was tasty too. We certainly couldn't fault the portions and service was also efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable, a neighbourhood gem
