"visited for the 3rd or 4 times last night and overall I feel that the place has decreased in quality and atmosphere. only table available a corner nook next to the fireplace with a community sofa behind my chair. the children were allowed to sit here. Eat: good, excellent tempura summer vegetables and pea and wide bean with minze cream fraiche were executed and well presented. net black olive-sonant tomato and rosmarin risotto with crispy goat cheese. again well presented and brought together all the aromes. this can be offered better than starter pan roasted chicken superior. well and an excellent calvados cream facilities the presented menus were disgusting, pickled and stained and were some paints clearly around the block around. damentoilette has no toilet paper overall stays the pub a good place, but he has been thinking of the high point of about a year ago"

what a fabulous pub. a solemn lunch for 14 booked and we were not disappointed. great service, great food, great atmosphere and fabulous wooden framed architecture.

Ben and his staff always make you feel welcome whether its for a cosy meal or propping up the bar for a few drinks and a chat. If you haven't had a chance to visit then you are missing out.

Three of us had an excellent lunch yesterday. I highly recommend the whole baked garlic bread starter (although my wife doesn't and our crayfish and cauliflower risotto was plentiful and delicious even if the crayfish were a bit small so we couldn't really taste them. Our friend said his burger was tasty too. We certainly couldn't fault the portions and service was also efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable, a neighbourhood gem

to have eaten here a few times before it seemed like the right place for a meal with our family from the country to visit. we were not disappointed, the service was as usual attentive, polite and unmarried; eating excellent large menu not overload confusing, but something for everyone and cooked / presented to perfection, so delicious; a large selection of wine/drinks and a price that reflects the quality of the food, etc., but not extorting. our family loved the whole experience we definitely backed up.
