"Nel pieno del ghetto ebraico, praticamente adiacente al portico d'Ottavia c'è la trattoria Giggetto. Pranzare avendo davanti agli occhi rovine romane è sempre bellissimo. Il posto è storico. Sicuramente prezioso nei ricordi della sig.ra L. Romana doc, seduta nel tavolo di fianco al mio, la quale mi raccontava, con emozione, di suo padre che pranzava anche lui lì, ormai tanti anni fa. La carbonara ottima anche se presentata non benissimo (vedi foto). Il carciofo alla giudia, che ho apprezzato e gustato foglia dopo foglia e rigorosamente con le mani, assolutamente speciale! Servizio gentile e veloce considerando le tante persone presenti a pranzo. Se avrò occasione ritornerò sicuramente."

food was great! carciofo alla giudìa is simply delicious location tipica, il quartiere del ghetto a roma ha sempre il suo fascino, e le tradizioni culinarie della cucina romana sono un must che nella zona del portico d'ottavia trovano un bellissimo revival

Ottimo locale per gustare eccellenti cibi della tradizione romana e ebraica. Carciofi alla giudia, abbacchio, rigatoni alla pajata, una strepitosa coratella con i carciofi.. avvertenza: porzioni decisamente impegnative prezzo commisurato a qualità e porzioni.

Service was friendly, food was great! We got the fried artichoke (a must), bucatini amatriciana (one of my favorite dishes of our trip), and fettuccine al ragu. All the food was amazing along with the history of the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! View menu

Ristorante turistico ma comunque divertente e in grado di ben preparare le specialità romane. Fritti tutti ben preparati, carciofo, supplì, crocchetta di patate e fiore; molto buoni anche gli spaghetti all’arrabbiata. Sicuramente una tappa piacevole nel bellissimo quartiere del Ghetto

very characteristic location that looks directly on the porch, eaten quite well, compared to other very well known premises in Rome the artichoke to the jacket too unto, for our tastes, good matriciana , tasteful zucca flowers and supplì. good food even if in the whole expectations were not met completely. We had dinner here our first night in Rome and it was the best meal of our Italy trip so far. We started with Prosecco and the fried artichoke. For dinner we had the bucatini all'amatriciana and spaghetti al tonno both were outstanding. Service was excellent and our server recommended a very good red wine. We ended the meal with a glass of limoncello. This place is a can't miss in Rome!

Come non amarla questa Trattoria Si respira spirito romano sin da fuori.. Accoglienza, gentilezza, simpatia di sicuro non mancano insieme al sorriso...insomma è come stare a casa! Cibo ottimo...Carciofi alla Giuda impeccabili. Cacio e pepe molto buona....ma da riassaggiare per dare la stella mancante. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono vista la location. Se siete nei pressi del ghetto...assolutamente da fermarsi.
