"Gittis Waldwirtschaft ist immer einen Besuch wert. Wir waren am 1. Mai da. Das Personal ist gerannt, die Küche hat richtig performed. Wir waren zum Maibaum aufstellen. Die Wirtschaft daneben hatte nur teilweise geöffnet und war hoffnungslos überfordert. Also zu Gitti. Auf einen Schlag ca. 150-200 Gäste fielen über drei Kellner und einen Barkeeper her. Die Jungs und Mädels waren freundlich und haben direkt gesagt, es dauert etwas. Gerne haben wir gewartet und das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder. So viel Engament und Freundlichkeit zu Gästen erlebt man selten."

This is really a quiet and cozy place. They offer traditional German food and my white carving was very good. The service was very friendly, even the cook showed up to run around and checked that everyone was satisfied.

We had a delicious traditional German meal here, it was raining so we couldn't enjoy what looked to be a lovely beer garden, the restaurant was cosy and warm and the meals were massive and well priced, it seemed to be mostly locals eating there which is always a good sign to me!Will probably go back before we go home

Great authentic local restaurant, recommended by our Airbnb hosts. Location is mainly outdoors in a beautiful wooded area. Good beer selection and typical Bavarian dishes, Schnitzel was excellent, so were the ribs and chicken, large portions, fun atmosphere. The place was really busy both times, we went so service takes a while, but it was worth it. View menu

A cozy spot in the middle of the city, but it feels like you're sitting somewhere in a forest. I can recommend the roast pork with an excellent dark beer sauce and there are discounts for senior citizens, which is a very social attitude! There should be more restaurants picking up this idea. Otherwise the prices are a bit high and you don't always get friendly service, but our waitress was very obliging! Price per person: €10–20
