After a particularly unpleasant experience we retreated here for breakfast and the food more than compensated for our unexpected predicament.

Nearly always end my dog walk on Gullane beach with Eggs Benedict and a coffee. Food is excellent and staff very friendly and major plus is Paddy can come as well!

Nice food. Good service. Overall a rather spiffing trip. Had a quiche which was rather pleasing. Afterward me and the rest of my party made a B-line for the expansive collection of Gâteau. And Huzzah they were simply delightful. Cheerio View menu

I enjoyed a delightful light lunch at this restaurant with large windows overlooking the golf course, where I could watch golfers in silly attire pass by. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing dogs to dine with their owners.

We (granddaughter, daughter in law and I often visit here for lunch and it is always very good. Lovely staff, best quiche Lorraine served with fresh slaw and salad and if the granddaughter would like an egg roll she can have one. No fuss. Delicious cakes (chocolate tart!!! and scones.

We have visited this wonderful cafe several times this year, and it always pleases. Delicious home baked cakes breads. We ate breakfast here this time and it was perfect. I cannot comment on the quality of the food, as I had to ask for a refund before receiving my order. I ordered 3 breakfast rolls and after a 15-minute wait, I was given the wrong order. The staff initially questioned me but eventually corrected the order. However, the food was cold and appeared to have been scraped out of the incorrect roll. After notifying the staff again, I requested a refund, which was reluctantly given with poor customer service.

It was great to see you open today. I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee. However, I am concerned about why your staff are not wearing masks. It is important to protect both your staff and customers from potentially getting infected with the coronavirus. Your staff interact with many customers and are at a higher risk of contracting and spreading the virus. Even though I wanted to come back for more coffee, I decided not to in order to minimize the risk of getting Covid. Please consider the safety of your customers and wear masks.

Apparently this has replaced a very nice bakery. Well, we needed a hearty breakfast to keep us all going until a 4.30pm wedding meal and this place did a fabulous job. Eight of us descended on them on a sunny Bank Holiday Saturday and we had superb food and drinks, and brilliant, attentive service. The eggs royale were as good as any I have ever had, and I’ve had plenty! The coffee was delicious, and perfectly piping hot so I could enjoy lingering with it.The Scottish breakfast was truly hearty and well-satisfied the hungry chaps so anywhere that prevents the “grumpy hungry boy syndrome” is worth five stars to me! We’ll definitely return next time we’re North of the Border. View menu
