"Greendale farm shop is a mini supermarket selling loads of normal supermarket lines and produce from local farms and boutique food and gift entrepreneurs. There's everyday essentials like fresh produce, fresh fish, crab, crayfish, and bucketload of meat options to satisfy any caveman instincts. There's normal milk and even organic milk with plenty of selections of butter, cream and cheese options. Loads on offer for the pantry and there's a lovely deli selling traditional pork pies, cornish pasties and other quick yummy treats on the go. If you're wanting a sit down meal, there's a cafe Restaurant inside for sit down or takeaway meals but we didn't order anything from there. We walked in tobthe Greendale farm shop only wanting a couple of things but walked out with loads of treats, chippies, dips and local preserves. Definitely a place that children will love as they can roam the farm with adults trying to strike up a conversation with donkeys, ponies, ostriches, ducks, swans, kangaroos and goats of all sizes ... and if that's not enough, let them pretend to be a farmer on the old tractors- who knows, maybe you'll wear them out so you can get some peace and quiet on the way home!"

The store is beautiful and elegant, surrounded by many animals that can be seen, and also contains a restaurant that requires reservations before coming and a small children's play area

Great food! The fish and chips were delicious. It's a lovely spot for lunch, shopping, or enjoying some ice cream. There are also animals to see, including chickens, donkeys, ostriches, goats, and more. I spent about an hour here, and it was a lovely experience.

Best of both worlds. My 2 year old loves anything farm related so he adored seeing all the animals, so many to see and the goats and donkeys were so friendly and came up for kisses. The farm shop is huge, fantastic array of food and drink to choose from, we both had a lovely morning View menu

Great shop, good choice of quality local foods and other specialty products, friendly staff, a lovely deli counter with fresh cooked items like sausage rolls, scotch and other eggs etc. Well kept and diverse cheeses. Maybe next time will go into the restaurant, there are also a couple of drink/food stalls outside plus the animals to visit.

Amazing! What can I say. A lovely stroll round looking at the animals, coffee from the coffee van, a further stroll with the animals and exploring the tractors followed by some extremely tasty food in the cafe and a stroll round the stunning array of produce in the farm shop. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again soon to try the afternoon tea for two! View menu

excellent facility with good quality and varied foods that contain local products. we had a meal in the restaurant and ordered the greendale burger, club stack sandwich and a toastie. all came freshly cooked with generous portions. the burger was the best I ever tasted. great. beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. I hope it won't be too popular because it wants to enjoy everything to us.

Lovely farm shop, plenty of produce but it's not massive or overwhelming. I have been looking for mushroom ketchup for AGES for a recipe, and Greendale has it so that's 5 gold stars from me! plenty of parking too. Cafe serves lovely drinks, didn't have any food so can't comment there, but my hot chocolate was delicious, not a big standard instant one only very slight issue was that staff didn't seem to be all on quite the same page regarding table availability! Someone seated us inside, then another member of staff asked us to leave as the table was reserved. We asked if we could reserve a table and they said yes, so we were moved to that table

"Owner rude and arrogant! And you can’t trust them and they won’t make your order right by just saying too busy to make it right! I called in to make a booking but told no tables available but I could place an order for takeaway so I ordered two gluten free pizzas. I also asked what size are the gluten free pizza crust and was told 11”. I was told I would need to wait 1 hour 30 minutes and I agreed. I ordered the Gluten free 11 “ crust as advised for one Olive Tree and one Garlicky . When I arrived, I asked the person with the pizzas to confirm the gluten free pizzas. She looked a bit worried and said they were not gluten free. I asked the other girl if I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs and she said they would expedite my pizzas. The owner came over and said he had two vegan pizzas for 8:30 pm and I said that is not what I ordered. He said he was too busy to remake the pizzas. He said the girl that took the order said she didn’t remember gluten free was ordered. As a Celiac , those are the first words out of my mouth when I order any food and I also inquired the size of the gluten free crust and frequently they are pre-made and sealed and I was told they are 11”. He would not remake the pizzas as he said he has to trust his staff. So he implies the customer are lying and uses it as an excuse to not make it right. It doesn’t excuse not remaking the pizzas correctly as ordered gluten free as I was told a few minutes earlier. I assured him I ordered both pizzas gluten free and my wife came in and also confirmed as she heard me place the order on the phone. I realize this pizza must be well done and popular but not to remake the pizzas and imply me a liar and refusing to remake them is unprofessional. I find his behavior arrogant, rude and unprofessional and just because he went to Italy to learn how to make pizza doesn’t make him a good owner and manager. Hopefully, he won’t blow off this review but learn from it. Always make it right for your customers! And never insult your customers! It also suggest he doesn’t care about his customers because he is too busy. He walks away and just repeats he has to trust his employees. Poor excuse for not making the pizzas as ordered! Employees can make mistakes and as a Coeliac I will also double check as I did when I came to pick up the pizzas. I would advise Coeliacs to not try these pizzas as you can’t trust them to make them to your order. Peace be with you! Dietary restrictions You cannot trust this place to make your gluten free as ordered and they won’t remake it if they made it wrong and just say I have to trust my staff. Very Poor attitude from an owner and a bit arrogant! Customers don’t appear to be important and must be lying if they get an order wrong."
