Been a customer of both Eastbourne and hastings for years, love this place and long may it continue!

I've been a fair few times to Half Man now and have left feeling happy every single time. Great service and amazing burgers. Currently loving the cajun chicken one, but the double beef patties are also great

We visit regularly and always welcomed by amazing and friendly staff! Guest burgers are always inventive and tasty and a huge range of burgers including loads of vegan/veggie options. Finally had a chance to try HM!HB! after being recommended by family and friends who have eaten here. It lived up to expectations! Restaurant was packed so were glad we 'd booked. Our group enjoyed the monthly special 'Super Curry Animal ' burger as well as the regular 'Gonzo ' burgers. The 'Half Man Half Brother ' locally brewed ale lived up to the description of a 'crazy amount of flavour ' with what I 'd describe as a fruity lime note. Rounded meal off with the Snickers pie which was also very good. Staff very friendly and helpfully suggested we share some fries around the group which was helpful.

I had tasted the burgers from here before having ordered online, but really enjoyed eating in the restaurant this evening for my daughter’s birthday. Burgers were tasty, and fries with no rosemary were easily accommodated. I was allowed to try the pale ale before ordering, and really enjoyed the atmosphere, aided by the friendliness of the staff. The seating is at bench style tables, which was only a problem when I wanted to leave and had to ask the two people next to me to get up. Music was also pretty loud for conversation over the table, but I will definitely go back. It made my daughter’s day so thankyou staff at HMHB.

I was really excited for this one, a trip out of Brighton into the unknown. A sneak peak at the menu before hand had me salivating for a Gonzo Burger! Whilst I waited for the rest of the gang to navigate the one way route and parking restrictions on the road the waitress bought me a pale ale which had a fruity flavour that was very refreshing. After the rest of the gang turn up and ordered the food came out surprisingly quickly which suggested it was pre made or being kept warm and therefore I think the taste suffered. Meat patties weren't all that great for flavour, one of our group suggesting it had a bit of a eurosausage undertone that wasn't all that satisfying. Buns were a bit soggy fro... View menu
