"Never mind le Pied de Cochon, just a couple of doors down is this little gem. All the French reviews here confirm this. We love Japanese food, and there's plenty of it to be had all over Paris, but this one is exceptional, mostly, I...think, because of the lovely Lucy herself, who puts her own very special stamp on it. The food is fresh and delicious, with plenty of interesting choices and an excellent value menu at 11.50 euros, which you can easily afford to add a couple of extras to. But the service is just superb, we've only ever had this kind of competent, on-the-ball attention at a really posh, Michelin-starred place before, and then it wasn't nearly so relaxed and friendly and personal. Details like advising us to use the salty soy sauce with the fish and the sweeter one with the meat, pouring the wine for us at the right moments, respecting and complying with our preferences about the order of serving, and advising to take the sake at the end of the meal warm not cold (wow! especially with crystallised ginger, the best I've had anywhere), were all much appreciated. It was really busy all evening, all kinds of people, everyone having a good time, Lucy remembered us from our booking earlier, had a friendly and personal word for everyone, and the young guys she had working there were all really quick and nice and attentive too, plus they were also supplying a busy take-away trade too, and all this on a Monday night out of season. Can't recommend the place too highly. If you know and love Japanese food you can't afford to miss it, and if you don't now's the time to learn to!"

The sushi are small. The salmon and the tuna isn't good. The gyozas are tiny with nothing inside and it's actually better as what's inside isn't good either. The coke was perfect and the toilets are clean. We paid 60 eur for 3.

they cried me like in japan, where I play the roll of gaijin. at the end we agreed at the desired court. then I wait, and the 6 wsitibg in the line. the Miso soup was normal, the sashimi seemed...yes to be fished. in the hand it came, frozen

one of their menus, which came with a misosuppet and a pleasant koleslawe like salat. the sushi itself was good. but the soy sauce that came from Kikkoman containers was thick and quite sweet. a low quality product or if this bottle sat there too long, but it wasn't great.

Cenato in questo giapponese ieri sera in due,Sembrava una buona soluzione e buona qualità. Oggi ci siamo svegliati e stiamo entrambi male. Yesterday It seemed to be a good solution among the other Japanese restaurants and to have a quite good quality. Today we don't feel well both

We were looking for a place for a quick lunch and good money. The deco has not been changed for years and it would be time to improve a clearer atmosphere and get rid of all those brown furnitures. Salmon and Tuna are really fresh....I prefer for a marine don to have the fishes shopped into really smaller part. There is not coriander neither sesame seeds on the top of the fish which is rather disappointing. .... even if coriander is not really japonese. Prices are ok. 13,30 euros for that dish.

had a pretty good impression of this place, the staff was very nice, we were a large group of more than 10 and the waiting times were just about average. the plat chaud that on the picture (pc2) is really good and I would...recommend, my friends took the flat plate chaud and were also satisfied. I had cloaked, they were on average. my friends had the sushi, the fish was fresh and the rice perfect. only negatiw here is their menu composition, it is huge and in some cases makes no sense. great place to eat Japanese as a whole!
