"For our main course, we both chose roasted pork, and I indulged in sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was light as air, but I could have used more sticky toffee sauce—simply wonderful! The chef certainly knows how to cook well. The staff were as charming as ever—friendly and attentive. They make you feel very special, from Ania at the reception to Miles at the bar, and the waiter who remembered us from our previous visit. We can't wait for our next trip in May to celebrate a special birthday party!"

Relaxing atmosphere in a warm and cosy 1st class Hotel. Service at lunch was attentive and the food delicious. Highly recommended place to switch off from the world and recharge your batteries. You feel well looked after with all the mod cons provided if you want to stay connected. Luxury accommodation set in beautiful countryside with easy access to Bath as well.

I booked an anniversary lunch for my husband I last minute. We arrived to a building site! However, the meal, service interior were fantastic, but it would have been nice to have been prewarned of the renovations. We were also sat overlooking a digger several workmen watching us eat our dinner, which was uncomfortable. Shame as we were really looking forward to it.
