"My wife, 2 kids and I were working out of Vienna for a good 2 weeks and staying in an apartment nearby. Our family adores good food and we typically carefully research or inquire where to eat. Having walked by Indus several times we were attracted by the the view of the back door garden terrace that you could see from the street through the window. It had a cool neon light. Checking the TripAdvisor scores convinced us to dine there one evening. We were absolutely impressed. Extremely friendly service and absolutely great (authentic) Indian food. All for a very reasonable price. Dishes with very distinct taste that were kept simple (as opposed to lashing in lots of cream and herbs together). We came back two days later to try out other dishes are we as impressed as the first time and even more so with the service. When near, do try out Indus! Wanna go for a coffee or night cap drink afterwards? Do try out Menta right at the corner a very cool and cosy bar where the locals meet."

Went with friends and the dinner was really good. Every dish was just as we had ordered. The only thing was that we had to wait too long for our meal and noticed that a lot of takeaways were being prepared and dispatched. They would have got a higher mark if we had been more important...

Auf der Suche nach einem guten Inder sind wir auf das Indus gestossen. Obschon viel sich über lange Wartezeiten aufgeregt haben, haben wir es gewagt. Ev. liegt es an der Sommerzeit aber wir mussten nicht lange warten. Knapp 20 Minuten nach dem wir Platz genommen haben kam die Vorspeise. Kurz darauf unsere 5 verschiedenen Gerichte. Alle herrlich authentische und sehr lecker. OK. der Service machte einen etwas unsicheren Eindruck aber sonst war es i.o.Das lokal selber ist sehr speziell und ev. auch etwas herunter gekommen. Aber das stört bei einem Inder – komischer Weise – nicht. Wir waren mit unserem Essen sehr zufrieden. Alles schmeckt toll und echt indische.
