"We love our Thai food, based on the reviews and how busy the place was we thought the food would be something special, unfortunately it was not up to standard. We had the pad Thai and the duck red curry to takeaway, if a Thai...place cannot nail a Pad Thai there is something wrong. There were barely any veges, literally 2 pieces of broccoli, the bean sprouts were brown and the noodle vs veges were 90/10. The red duck curry was a decent portion size but bland and tough. There was no care in the dishes, perhaps the chef was lazy that night. The atmosphere is great in the restaurant, and the bar area is nice. Great for a young crowd! We would not order again, plenty of other Thai restaurants close by with a cheaper more tasty menu."

Kittichai is a good place for a quick lunch in a Thai-ish style. You'll find typical dishes like Massaman or Pad Thai, served with noodles or rice. The food was good and quite cheap.

I had a Thai style salad with peanut, chicken and herbs and Greens. The salad was ok, i would have wished the Chicken which was added wasnt cold- it was pre-prepared. my friends who are natives brought us here to have a quick dinner. somehow, this place tries to be imaginative, although it is not so much. I mean, the interieur is nice, but it still looks a little cheap. the food was solid and was delivered quite quickly. prices are good, but the place in restaurant is limited. you should come early enough to get a good table.

Went here for a few drinks as they had happy hour. Cocktails are huge and really nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food looked so good we decided to go back for food the next day. Visited a different location in cologne and was...equally as impressed. I had the burger and my friend had red thai chicken. Both were superb. PLEASE BRING KITTICHAI TO THE UK

Mein Freund hat das Pad Thai (vegetarisch) und ich die Reisnudeln in Thai-Curry und Erndusssoße (vegan). Mein Freund hat beides probiert und meinte das Reisnudelgericht ist definitiv der Gewinner. Ich habe Tofu als Zusatz bestellt und mit dem vielen Gemüse drin war es so geschmacksreich. Außerdem haben wir das Essen so schnell gekriegt, obwohl der Restaurant wirklich gefüllt war. Stopped in here for a bite to eat and a quick drink before our trip back to the airport. Wish we'd visited earlier! Cheery staff and the food came quick. No table service but it's not really that sort of place. Drinks are cheap with...happy hour specials on cocktails. Food was very nice, typical Thai-style fare. Pad thai, red curry... even burgers with sweet potato fries if you are so inclined! Not expensive at all and well located within walking distance of the Cathedral.

The food is very delicious and you can definitely not complain about it. Their service concept is called semi-service' and is not really elaborated. You make your order at the counter, pay first and receive a number afterwards. You should place this number visible on...your table, so the waiters can bring your meal to you. The problem about this is that the waiters need to search for the numbers in the whole restaurant, which can result in waiters, who take your meal outside first, before they recognize that you are sitting in the rear corner.
