Fantastic food with a wide choice on the menu. Drinks are a little pricey. Can get very busy on a Saturday evening meaning limited parking, slow service and can be very noisy. Overall I'd go back but book an earlier reservation on a Saturday evening.

We had a fantastic meal here, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I have to eat gluten and nut free and they catered for me perfectly, I enjoyed chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce and I had a panna cotta for dessert. The others had great meals and enjoyed a couple of bottles of red wine. The staff were attentive with just the right amount of interaction. We will definitely be back.

I rated this restaurant three stars because my wife ordered mashed potatoes but was told they were unavailable. We were a bit disappointed, but eventually the chef managed to find some for us! We were also supposed to receive a 20% discount, but it wasn't applied to our final bill. However, we have a card that gives us 20% off for the next month, so we plan to return. Bit hit and miss. On the positive side the staff were pleasant with good service and the restaurant is nice. Some dishes did disappoint though, especially the calamari starter which was tough and chewy. Our daughters ordered margherita pizzas, admittedly without the basil, but they were a bit plain and bland to be honest. Pasta dishes were nice and the veal milanese was decent. Overall I’d say it was ok but I wouldn’t rush back. And don’t have the calamari unless your jaw needs a good workout!

It was bit chaotic on arrival as they were very busy, however we were shown to our table quite quickly. I think on a quieter even that the service would have been timely and impeccable but it was, as I said, very busy. The ambience was really good and it is run like a typical Italian family restaurant. The whole family is involved and the typical differences of opinion make for great entertainment. Our waiter was very friendly and apologetic of the delay but made sure that our food was piping hot and well presented on arrival. For my starter, I chose the beef carpaccio, which was disappointingly minimal—just four wafer-thin slices of beef. However, the real issue arose with the main course. Both my wife and I ordered the beef medallions, and I do enjoy beef! The menu indicated that all dishes came with vegetables and potatoes. While we received some vegetables on our plates, there were no potatoes. When I inquired about this, I was met with some blank stares before being offered chips. I had to point out the mention of potatoes on the menu, and the waiter hurried off to the kitchen. He returned a few minutes later stating that the potatoes were boiling and would be ready shortly.
