"Well, we went here as a scouting party to see if La Sala could be a great New Year venue for us and a group of friends. The far from ideal views of one of the roundabouts of Nueva Andalucia can possibly be forgiven, as New Years is celebrated at night, and the party in itself was to be the focus of attention. The lack of parking space is an issue for those not taking a taxi or within walking distance of the restaurant. We were greeted at the door by a hostess and led to a table, where we (after some effort) could barely squeeze in. You are literally sitting back to back with other guests as the tables and chairs here are packed as tight as possible. It actually reminded me of Ryanair. There is absolutely no possibility of carrying on a private conversation here, as the next table is practically on top of you. To remedy this, they had much too loud trashy Christmas music blaring out over the whole terrace. We ordered fried shrimp for starters, these were slightly overdone, but what called my attention was the price, 22 € for 4 shrimps. One would expect perfection at that price. Shrimps were followed by a Thai green curry, nothing special and here the rice was undercooked (some grains still hard). My second glass of wine was whisked away before I had finished it (strangely enough not my wife’s, only mine), and the behaviour of one the young girls attending us was worth writing a separate letter to management about. Perhaps she had earlier worked at Ryanair. Needless to say, we did not book for New Year, nor will I be going back to this mediocre venue anytime soon. When we headed out, a grim looking bouncer had taken the place at the door, which speaks in itself I suppose for what can be expected here of the rest of the night.There was absolutely nothing attractive about La Sala. Marbella is practically brimming with much better alternatives."

Went on a Sunday for the roast even though they still had the full menu. The atmosphere was amazing bands and singers playing. Service was impeccable and the food to die for. A must go indeed.

Vinimos a cenar el domingo por la noche, aunque no teníamos mesa reservada, nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Mi esposa tenía gambas en una sartén y yo tenía alitas de pollo. Ambos tuvimos el filete como plato principal, la comida era increíble. Había un cantante en vivo de Irlanda y fue brillante, así que nos quedamos y tomamos unas cuantas copas más de tinto y un boogy. Definitivamente regresaremos en el verano. Gracias por una velada memorable.

A lo largo de los años, mientras estuve aquí de vacaciones, solo he estado aquí unas pocas veces, pero desde que me mudé aquí, encuentro que vamos aquí cada vez más. El excelente almuerzo asado los domingos y su bistec los lunes y martes tienen una excelente relación calidad-precio. Su carta a la carta también tiene un precio razonable y una comida maravillosa. Valet Parking si reservas, traslado en autobús VIP para grupos. Una parada habitual para mi esposa y sus amigas cuando vienen de visita. El entretenimiento siempre es muy divertido.
