"We popped in here after an afternoon out in Munich the food was very tasty I had bruschetta, pizza, and tiramisu but it was disappointing that the service didn't live up to the food. I wonder if they didn't expect to be as busy...as they were, but there was hardly any waiting staff on and the one guy was rushed off his feet serving. We didn't get asked again if we wanted drinks and no one collected our starter plates so they were left on the table when mains came and someone collected them halfway through eating mains. Also left waiting a long time after main course and eventually had to ask for desert menu, which the guy seemed surprised about why else are we sat there, either we want desert or we want to pay! Maybe it was just a busy night, but it could've been so much better"

The pizzas were great, thin and crispy. Salad, wine and puddings tasty too. Reasonably priced and a cosy atmosphere. And allowed Doris the dog in thank you

This place was recommended by a friend from Munich and we had a great evening. Attentive service and lovely meals. I would come back if I find myself in Munich again View menu

Photos presented have nothing to do with the actual pizza delivered. This is not a pizza Napoletana. If you have 30 minutes 1hr you can make it at home, probably even better.

We dined here for my wife birthday midweek. Lovely food and wine. The Tiramisu is home made and delicious. Prices very reasonable and good atmosphere. We went back again on Friday

We come back to Lavi Di Garda every time we are in Munich. Great people watching for the outside tables on Rumford street. The chicken dishes are outstanding and the coffee espresso is excellent. The staff here is Always friendly View menu

We ate here twice. The food quality was excellent with a good range of pizzas, meat and fish. There were also specials and a whole truffles menu. Pricing was good for the quality. Good service with English spoken. Wine list was the best we encountered...all week

We stumbled on this restaurant as it was just around the corner from our hotel. We sat outside on a hot July night and enjoyed wonderful fresh pasta. My Penne Arabiatta was made with fresh tomatoes and was perfectly al dente with a mild chilli...zest, while my partner loved her Tagliatelle alla Porcini. The service was a little average but that is a minor criticism in the context of the great food we enjoyed. I don’t understand some of the other criticisms of the wine list. We had a lovely bottle of dry, crisp Piedmont white wine that went beautifully with our food. We highly recommend this restaurant

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
