"25. We went to Lanes of London in the afternoon. As Sans Enfants we were looking forward to some time in a relaxing environment with good food. I can honestly say that everything about the experience was error-free, from welcome to food and atmosphere. Marie, our host, was charming and attentive throughout, combined with a good sense of humor a professional and relaxed way. The food was done very imaginatively and perfectly presented. If you didn't know what was on the menu, you might think that the crab was in the bowl of ice. Each piece was individual in terms of taste and presentation, and above all, delicious. The time went by and before we knew it, two hours were gone. The only comment I would make, what really on my personal palette, is that the menu was harder in terms of sweet flavors than I expected with Scones, followed by a sweet menu. A little sweetheart would probably have been appreciated. After said that, adapting the speciality tea to the food really complimented it and took some of the sweet. I would not hesitate to visit again in the future, as it was certainly one of the best afternoon tea available and a very good round experience."

The food is delicious and the presentation is fabulous. We have a beautiful view of Mable Arch. Service is excellent. Tea choice is also great. Price is inexpensive and highly recommended for the celebration.

A beautiful afternoon tea. The staff was friendly and explained the various dishes. It was nice to have something other than sandwiches and the different teas for different courses was a nice touch. Would definitely return.

The service at this restaurant was excellent! The staff was friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was beautiful and delicious, with hearty portions. The scones were the best I've ever had, and the jam was heavenly. Overall, a fabulous experience.

What a great find! the staff was super inviting especially our waitress (sorry don't remember their name), but she was so beautiful and entertained me very well pregnant. Eating is fantastic and up to the expected level of this type of space. Very recommended!

We had a great evening at Lanes restaurant with attentive service and exceptional consideration for our food intolerances. The menu was extensive with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Food was good but restaurant wasn't very busy. Service was ok, we had a new waiter who had only been in the job 3 days, so learning the trade. He was a lovely chap who was trying hard to please. Gave him some tips on wine pouring, but there did not seem to be much supervision of him which was a little disappointing. Overall happy as the wine was good and company was great.

The food was very nice and looked great, but it’s not a traditional afternoon tea experience which for the price was a bit disappointing. No option to have a cheaper tea without the champagne (though zero alcohol was offered) which is disappointing when you are with under 18s. The tea was herbal, which fitted the botanical theme but not what I expected. Room lacks atmosphere.
