"I was at Apostrophe twice the first time after my late night arrival in Arles, and during which the service was slow and surly. I had my aperitif and left, without intentions of returning. Yet I did return two nights later, for dinner this time. I ordered a steak and seafood dinner, which was not in season I was told. Instead I ordered a stir fry with shrimp, which I enjoyed. The service persons this time were friendlier."

We were disappointed overall in the service. It took forever to get served and the food was OK, but not memorable.

Great lunch, delightful atmosphere. The smoothies were delicious. A few of us chose sandwiches or salad with fried chicken tenders. So good!

Way TOO expensive. Euro 14.40 for 2 beers and not even an snack or something..... And all due to the fact the you are at Place de Forum. Get your drinks and food somewhere else.

But in the same square. As a lover of correct grammar I HAD to take my coffee here. My Americano with Cold Milk came with HOT Milk, but otherwise everything just fine. Hayling Seagoon

Excellent dinner and service in the Place Du Forum. Really good dinner for two, one pizza, one salad bowl, just well done with friendly service. If you are in Arles would definitely recommend it.

Only dropped in for light refreshments on our visit to Arles last week had to wait a while to be served and the waitress made us feel she was doing a favour by doing so. Didn’t return and wouldn’t recommend

We had a crab and avocado sandwich on brioche bun. Couldn't find any crab amongst the mayo! Tres Cher pour 18E. But the fries and beer were nice. My wife had a nice salad but it was very small for 17E. A bit underwhelmed. More Catastrophe than Apostrophe!

My family and I came to the café to get some breakfast, we were happy to see that they could offer more than the typical french, which was a healthy breakfast with yoghurt and fruit. The hot chocolate was a bit watery but if you order coffee you’ll be good! I can recommend this café for others in need of breakfast

The food was fine,a light meal ,and it was what we wanted. The girl, who may have been the manager, was helpful and smiling, and gave us menus ,and we paid our bill to her. The guy who served us ,and other staff who appeared were sullen unsmiling, and the guy who took, and delivered our meal was in the wrong job I think. He didn't know how to treat people and was less than welcoming..Functional service only

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
