"Hungry and keen to catch the end of the France v Wales rugby match, we came across this bar/restaurant by chance. Dog friendly, we were welcomed to sit at a table with a good view of the match and despite being populated by the opposition, a little friendly banter ensued (though France were winning). The food choice was good and the service was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our short visit to this establishment."

Le Trinquet offers great fresh cuisine in a bistro-style. I really enjoyed the Steak Tartar and the pate. There was a good wine list and the staff were very obliging. If you want to see the basque sport of Pelote there is a court in the rear!
