Fabulous lunch here with friends this afternoon. I had the stacked thighs which were absolutely delicious, piping hot and melted in your mouth! Friends enjoyed their chicken sandwiches and hubby had the burger! Great choices of food, friendly customer service and overall a fab experience! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Went for a meet up with my son....ordered poached eggs on granary bread.....have to say a bit bland and the eggs....well decency won't allow me to say what they looked like.... Had a flat white which was served in a glass!.... no handle. A hot drink in a glass....won't be going again sadly Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch

Like this place. Nice atmosphere, good service, nice menu but considering eggs feature heavily on the menu they are always cold!. I've told the management, I've sent back food and told them it's cold but nobody is listening. Such a shame as it's the one thing that is spoiling an otherwise fab place. Listen to your customers. Went here with family friends and our dog. Food was really nice the service was very good attentive but not too much. The only negative thing was when we left there was no lighting going to the Carpark. Fortunately we gD our phones to use the torch. Parking: Like I said previously there was no lighting coming out and in the carpark. So we used our torch on our phones. Service: Dine in

Super good food, quite a bit of a wait due to a baby showever but they did offer free drinks and gave use 50% off out meal. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but also dog friendly which mite not be good for some kids. Parking: The car park is only for the pub and links to a semi-buzy road on some days. Dietary restrictions: Supper good, on their menu you will be able see a GF for gluten free, NU for nuts, and VE and VEG for vegations and vegans and you can also ask about other allergys.

Unfortunately we where put on an awful table tucked into a corner...loads of free tables around ..also we where put right next to a rude couple who where constantly snogging each others faces off .. embarrassing...no cutlery when the food was presented to us so my wife wandered off to sort out the situation..when the table next to us was eventually vacated for the remainder of our meal we had to look at a blue kitchen roll and a bottle of cleaner ...not a particularly pleasent way to spend a Sunday evening.

I didn’t know what raw black pudding tasted like until today. Unsurprisingly it’s not great. Unfortunately when it’s eaten raw it’s quite clear how “past its best” the food is. As we live right next to this place I’ve given this restaurant so many chances since it opened but it always seems like the staff are struggling to cope and the quality of the food is honestly really poor. From day one we’ve repeatedly whole meals refunded at the insistence of embarrassed staff for insanely long wait times and I can’t believe it’s still consistently this poor years on. No attempt to even comp the raw meal I was served and we had to wait for ages to even get the cheque. The initial service we received...
